A 6-year-old girl was killed and five adults hurt after someone opened fire near a Popeye’s in Washington D.C., police said. The child was pronounced dead at Sibley Memorial Hospital, said cops, prompting Metropolitan Police Department Executive Assistant Chief Ashan Benedict to plea for the public to help “bring these shooters to justice.”(Snip) The incident unfolded just after 11 p.m. Friday. Officers heard shots ring out at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE and Malcolm Avenue X SE, and arrived at the intersection to find the victims, including the child, three men and two women, Benedict said.

Comments:

A fried chicken joint in Washington, DC, at the intersection of MLK and Malcom X avenues? That's a big No from me, dawg. They can't name or shame bLACK people, who are blameless in the USA, nor ask why a 6-year-old is on the streets at 11 PM, so they blame a gun. May as well also point to the city being after a man who owned hundred of African slaves.

My father chose to settle in Washington, D.C., in 1935 because this was such a nice town with polite and caring neighbors. My wife and I left the city of my birth 50 years ago because of rising crime and we wanted a place to raise children with good schools. It is a thousand per cent worse than it was then. Such a pity for The Nation's Capitol.

It could have been some of the Democrats mystical “White Supremacists” looking for the US Capitol Building? Other posters are right, the powers at be and the liberal media don’t blame Black criminals for all these aggravated assaults and murders as defined in the criminal laws, and to get away with that the inner city Democrats have created the term “gun violence” that exists no place in the criminal laws. What racial group anywhere in the world outside the US big city Black ghettos goes around routinely shooting and murdering small children of their own racial group?

Yes, poster #14, a little girl is dead. Her parents will mourn. The staff at the hospital will be devastated they weren't able to save her. But, if I put a sign out on my front yard, across the street from a neighbor who has a black lives matter sign and my sign says little black girl's lives matter too, I'll be called a racist.

It takes a few days most of the time to catch perpetrators like these. Once the word gets around the “community” as to the shooter’s identities and possibly their gang affiliation, the police will receive a call on a tip line and arrangements will be made, in return for a few thousand dollars, for the lady on the other end of the line to confidentially identify the perpetrators to the police. That’s the way it usually works.

An NYPD cop on patrol in Brooklyn had his head split open when a tie-dye-wearing thug—who’s done time for assaulting officers in the past—smashed a bottle over his head, according to new video. The video, which does not have audio, shows the suspect, identified by police sources as Tyshaun Holloway, 27, walk up to the cop and the two exchange words.

Denying Republicans a quorum to enact voting restrictions will cost Texas Democrats north of $1 million, according to the state legislator leading the fundraising effort. More than 50 Democratic members of the state House fled Austin for Washington, D.C., last Monday, paralyzing the House just as the GOP was advancing sweeping changes in elections during a special session. Under the Texas Constitution, the Legislature requires a quorum of two-thirds of lawmakers to be present to conduct state business in either chamber. The price of keeping the Democrats out of Texas through Aug. 7, when the session expires, is expected to be around $1.5 million,
