The highly contagious Delta variant has fueled a surge COVID cases around the world, including in New York where the numbers are creeping up. New York’s positive infection rate for Saturday was 1.51%, continuing its rise from 1.02% a week earlier and 0.63% two weeks earlier, according to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s office.(Snip)Former FDA commissioner Doctor Scott Gottlieb, who sits on the board of Pfizer, appeared on Face the Nation Sunday, reminding people a final push in prevention is getting vaccinated. “This virus is so contagious, this variant is so contagious, that it will infect a majority,” he said. “Most people will either get vaccinated,

"If I say this variant is the most terrifying ever, will THAT convince you to get the vaccine, for my personal financial benefit?" These needle pushers have no shame.

Masks don't protect you! They're like carrying a lucky rabbit's foot or knocking on wood. During the dark ages aristocrats would carry oranges with cloves embedded in the peel to hold to their noses in public as protection against the plague. Wearing a mask provides approximately the same amount of protection against the Wuhan.

Cases are irrelevant. Have there been any deaths of this new "variant"? Historically, viruses mutate to be less deadly, not more deadly.

Throughout the pandemic we were told that masks protect others, not the wearer. If true, why should vaccinated people (or people who have had COVID) have to wear masks? How many vaccinated people are dying? And what about treatments--we have one, the monoclonal antibody drugs. Why the panic over a preventable and treatable virus?

The common cold is highly contagious, but weak. It is caused by a novel corona virus, just as Kung Flu is. Most people 'catch' a cold, but few die from it. If we tested for the common cold virus, most everyone would test positive, but few would be hospitalized or die. Instead, politicians would talk about the high number of 'cases' meaning high numbers testing positive.

A frightened population is a compliant population, and these power freaks are trying to "keep up a skeer," as Bedford Forrest would have put it. It's come down to this: I didn't and don't believe their fearmongering, and won't believe it in the future. We've been relentlessly lied to by Fauci, the Legacy Media, and the Democrats. Anyone with any sense has already tuned out these irrelevant prevaricators and gotten on with life. There should be some truly horrifying professional consequences for these bipedal bovine scatology spreaders. They should be doing important things such as checking parking meters in Fairbanks. So there are five runaways from Texas that tested positive for this version of the Chinese virus. None show any symptoms. So it took a incredibly flawed test to detect something that nobody knew they had and didn't feel. Sounds like we need to shut down the country again. Doing that will only do one positive thing, halt inflation.
