Fifty-two years after Ted Kennedy's car plunged off the Dike Bridge on Chappaquiddick Island in Massachusetts, killing passenger Mary Jo Kopechne, her family says they are grateful that she is finally being seen as more than "the girl who died in the car." (Snip) On July 18, 1969, 28-year-old Kopechne attended a reunion party on Chappaquiddick, off of Martha's Vineyard, attended by then-Sen. Kennedy and some of the campaign workers who had worked for his brother Robert F. Kennedy's presidential campaign. (The six women who attended the party, including Kopechne, were known as the "Boiler Room Girls" because of the

Comments:

At least someone has not forgotten about her. But at the time the liberal media was content to portray MaryJo as 'a blonde' or 'boiler room girl'. But they could never quite patch-up old Teddy good enough to get him into the White House.

She’d have been 80 now… The likelihood of their ever finding out more than what is known now - that she was left to die by Teddy Kennedy in a car that had gone into the water but still contained some air. She died a horrible death, clawing at the inside of the car as she attempted to get out. Teddy should be roasting in Hell.

Use Occam's Razor. The straight line deduction is that Mary Jo was carrying Ted's baby. Letting this story out would wreck his Presidential aspirations. So Mary Jo was left to die. What more do you want?

Her family allowed themselves to be bullied (or paid off) into silence. A Catholic Big Wig also badgered them into not having an autopsy, saying it was against the teaching or some such rot.

#10 - the bigwig was a cardinal or archbishop closely associated with the Kennedy family who convinced (or leaned on) Mary Jo's parents to refuse an autopsy. All the "Boiler Room girls" ended up as much more than secretaries - legislative aides, lawyers, literary agents, employment in Ted's office and so on. One married one of the lawyers the Kennedy family hired to represent the boiler room girls. I'm sure the Kennedys called in favors and probably paid them off to keep them quiet. If no one has talked by now, they never will. Ted was known to joke about Chappaquiddick among his friends. I hope he's learned it was no laughing matter.

I'm with #10. Her parents sure didn't put up much of a fuss about her murder. In fact, I don't remember them saying a word in public. I could never figure how Fat Ted got out. Did he go thru the window, which would have let the car fill up with water from the open window, or did he open the door, get out and then close it again, which made the air pocket in the car? I don't know forensics or whatever, but just wondered about this. I know we are not supposed to judge people, but I sure HOPE he is paying a price for this and his love for abortion, and many other things in his life.

According to a diver, Mary Jo Kopechne died from a lack of oxygen (probably from the air bubble in the back of the car). She also was not wearing any under wear under her dress. IMO, when Kennedy's car was on the road that night, and was pictured stopped before driving onto the bridge, there may've been a struggle with Kopechne in the front seat, to have his way with her. After all, he had "volunteered" to drive Mary Jo to the ferry. Isn't it AMAZING that Ted Kennedy managed to escape but he just couldn't try hard enough to save Mary Jo. Dead women tell NO tales!! I thought one of her coworkers settled this a couple of years ago when she confessed that Mary Jo told her she was close to passing out at the party and was going to find a car to lie down in. Young ted then got in the same car and drove off, apparently oblivious to the fact that there was anyone else inside who needed saving. If she were to spin that one today the media would no doubt run with it and we'd be told any belief to the contrary would be conspiracist.

Pretty simple. A drunken Kennedy drove off a bridge with a woman in his car. The car flipped over in about 7 to 8 ft of water. Drunken Ted got out, and didn't give one second's thought to saving the woman, swam for it to escape. Went back to his room, changed clothes and then finally asked his "handlers" and "fixers" to take care of the cleanup. Ted lied, Mary Jo died. Pretty simple. And his entire life was one big lie.

Judge Robert Bork suffered so much ugly abuse in the Senate confirmation hearings on his Supreme Court nomination, he became a verb - "bork". Teddy, who led the way in that effort, called Bork into his office and, without even looking up at Bork, Kennedy said "Nothing personal". Ted Kennedy may never have become President but his legacy of damage to this country is so great, some drooling female journo suggested Mary Jo Kopechne would be proud to have had a hand in putting Teddy in the Senate.

#35 - it was Pope Benedict and the letter was hand-delivered to him by Obama. Here's an excerpt from Kennedy's letter. Obviously, he was scared to meet the Judge of All: “I am writing with deep humility to ask that you pray for me as my own health declines,” wrote Kennedy, according to the Herald. “I want you to know, Your Holiness, that in my nearly 50 years of elective office, I have done my best to champion the rights of the poor and open doors of economic opportunity. I’ve worked to welcome the immigrant, fight discrimination and expand access to healthcare and education. I have opposed the death penalty and fought to end war. Those are the issues that have motivated me and have been the focus of my work as a Unites States Senator… “I’ve always tried to be a faithful Catholic, Your Holiness, and though I have fallen short through human failings, I have never failed to believe and respect the fundamental teaching of my faith. I continue to pray for God’s blessing, on you, and on our church, and would be most thankful for your prayers for me.” The Pope, incidentally, replied to Kennedy and told him that he was praying for him. He added: “He invokes upon you the consolation and peace promised by the Risen Savior to all who share in His sufferings, and trust in His promise of eternal life.” Seems like false assurance to me. At any rate, Kennedy has indeed met the Judge and knows the verdict.

Mary Jo was a bright young girl with a future in politics although it would have been as a democrat. Who knows, she might have changed the direction of the party since the democrats can not recruit bright young girls. Teddy was a fair to mediocre senator who wasn't too bad looking either until he turned into a fat pig. He waited for ten hours attempting to spin a story that would not hurt his political career. Francis reimposed restrictions on celebrating the Latin Mass that Benedict relaxed in 2007. The pontiff said he was taking action because Benedict’s reform had become a source of division in the church and been used as a tool by Catholics opposed to the Second Vatican Council, the 1960s meetings that modernized the liturgy. Francis issued a new law requiring individual bishops to approve celebrations of the old Mass

The head of America's second-largest teacher's union walked back her criticism of Florida's governor less than 24 hours after she said 'millions' would die because of his COVID-19 'ignorance.' Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers, retweeted a Washington Post article about anti-Dr. Anthony Fauci merchandise being sold on the Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis's official website.'Disgusting. Millions of Floridians are going to die for Ron DeSantis’ ignorance and he’s choosing to profit from it. He doesn’t care about Floridians; he cares about furthering his own cruel agenda,' Weingarten tweeted.

Dominion Voting Systems’ official website appears to have gone offine, only to have returned with password authentication. (Photo) Dominionvoting.com returned with a password needed to proceed to the website. DiscloseTV originally reported the website going off-line.(Photo) The timing of the password procedure being installed is odd, to say the least. It follows Tucker Carlson’s bombshell report on Fulton County, Georgia that shows the voter integrity group VoterGA revealing thousands of votes appeared to have been erroneously marked in ballot tallies for Joe Biden.“At least 36 batches of mail-in ballots from the November election were double-counted in Fulton County, that is a total of at least 4,000 votes,” he said. As the forensic audit in Maricopa County, Arizona, winds down, expectations are rising that the defects of the 2020 election will finally be addressed. A recent poll reports that "more than half" of Republicans expect the audit to bounce President Biden out of office. That's not going to happen. And that's not a bad thing. Fixing the 2020 election requires more than Biden has to offer. Real reform requires going after the people who put Biden in office. (snip) There is no precedent or framework for revoking Biden's Electoral College "win."

I wrote an article in May titled Carville, Axelrod Deliver Blunt Message to ‘Smug,’ ‘Arrogant’ Dems — They’ll Totally Ignore It,’ in which I reported on the frustration of former Clinton official James Carville and former Obama official David Axelrod with the radical agenda of the Democrat Party. In a joint appearance, both veteran Democrats teed off on the party of Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and presumably, Joe Biden. Blasting the Democrats with terms like “metropolitan arrogance” and “urban smugness,” the message was clear: The faster and farther the Democrat Party Crazy Train rushes down the radical-left track, the more “detrimental” it will be to the Democrats’ future election prospects. And now?

President Joe Biden on Tuesday nominated former Sen. Jeff Flake to serve as ambassador to Turkey, extending a high-profile diplomatic post to the anti-Trump Republican.Flake praised the Biden administration’s “strong, experienced and capable team representing U.S. interests abroad,” and nodded to the significance of selecting him for such a strategically important post.“With this nomination, the Biden Administration reaffirms the best tradition of American foreign policy and diplomacy: the credo that partisan politics should stop at the water’s edge,” Flake said in a statement. “U.S. foreign policy can and should be bipartisan. That is my belief as well, and my commitment.”
