New Yorkers have been forced to wade through rat-infested waters to get home after torrential rain flooded the subway - as the Big Apple braces for Tropical Storm Elsa to strike and bring fresh travel chaos. Thunder storms have caused widespread flash flooding across NYC, with waist-high water deluging Washington Heights subway station and cops deployed to rescue stranded motorists. Several roads in the Bronx and Manhattan remained closed Friday, with up to 6 inches of rain predicted in some areas later. One creative Bronx resident was seen using a jet ski to cross a road under several feet of water.

NYC can't be bothered to clean or maintain its street-level storm drains, despite receiving billions of US tax dollars to do these things, and so the overflow floods the subways. Never, ever are Marxist politicians held to account for wasting public money; better still, the Crumbling Infrastructure means we're not spending nearly enough. More video here.

So fossil fuel execs cause hurricanes? Hurricanes have been happening forever and a day -- long before Ms. Thing was born and long before there were such things as fossil fuel execs. Would someone please just muzzle that person?
Ms. Thing is just annoying. If she had anything useful to add to a discussion over climate or the use of fossil fuels or even how to use a pot of paste on construction paper, let her talk. But she NEVER does.
She's the yapping dog who is well fed, well watered, well cared-for, and pampered -- and still barks her head off. SHUT UP already! I am tired of your stupid mouth. She needs to be put in doggy time-out for a long time.

All AOC ever does is BLAME...................... She is so vapid! Put the blame where it belongs; on her father. He should have put on a condom. Procreation is not meant for everyone, what did we do to deserve this?

She's trying her hardest to get the ''Dumbest Person in Congress'' crown from that nitwit, Maxine Waters. An epic battle of the mini-brains.

Forgive me when I think (and say out loud) a person has to be pretty ignorant to wade through waist deep, Rat infested waters in the Subway. I mean REALLY? Is it that important they get to work or wherever they're going to do such a thing? I don't think so!

Watch the 1997 film Conspiracy Theory, directed by Richard Donner--who just died, by the way--starring Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts. In the movie, the New York City subways flood as part of a government cover up. So uncanny and timely. So much strange truth.

Call me crazy..... but tunnels below sea level might be prone to flooding. The question is......are the pumps insufficient or were they not operating? In either case, government failed.

Would you go down those subway steps and into that water, ever? revolting, disgusting
Accepting rat-infested subway stations and city streets, with human waste and drug paraphernalia and homeless mental wrecks and violent criminals, all symptoms of the degenerative process in NYC as well as other cities.

Yeah, Exxon execs were behind the Democrat corruption in NYC that redirected tax money from proper drainage preparation efforts.

So now every tropical storm is somehow unusual? Proof of MMGW?
LOL!
An idiot neighbor in Colorado told me that "Florida will be under water in 10 year!" She breathlessly told me "It's 115 degrees in the Pacific Northwest!" When I said, "So, what?" She screetched loudly.....in total disbelief that I wasn't instantly convinced that the world was ending. I then said, "The weather varies a lot." and I suggested that we'll have to disagree, and I'm going to be visiting Florida soon, where we have a house.
She recently move to Colorado after living in DC for her whole working life. They really are crazy.
