New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday signed a law passed by the Democrat-controlled state Legislature that allows guns to be considered a public nuisance and opens the floodgates for lawsuits against gun manufacturers.“The only industry in the United States of America immune from lawsuits are the gun manufacturers, but we will not stand for that any longer, Cuomo said in a news release.According to NBC News, the federal Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act of 2005 carved out immunity for gun manufacturers if individuals misuse their products in a criminal manner.Cuomo’s news release claims that New York is changing all of that.

That's OK- anyone with any brains has already moved to Florida or is planning to. Criminals are likely to stay in NY .

Kimber makes some of the most beautiful pistols in America, many of them 1911 style (similar to the venerable serviceman's .45). Heretofore, all their craftsmanship was practiced at their Yonkers, NY facility. A few months ago Kimber announced that it is moving its factory, offices, and production to Troy, AL. Can you blame them? Companies go where they're appreciated.

Sorry, sister of Fredo. PLCA supersedes this nonsense, no matter how much you huff and puff about it. The first time you clowns try to use this, you will be countersued, and you will lose. The public nuisance thing will never hold any water, even in the People's Republic of NY.
It must suck to be as stupid as you are, sister of Fredo.

Let's sue the manufacturers of knives, autos, baseball bats, and anything else that can be used to kill someone, excepting human hands.

And another industry immune from lawsuits: Covid 'vaccine' makers.
Which before it is done, I fully expect will have killed or disabled more people than guns have throughout history.

With Clinton and Obambi judges at the ready, this will stand. No way a Clinton or Obambi judge passes up a chance to amend the constitutional.

Gun manufacturers are not the negligent ones, it is the end user. Often it is the end user who obtained the gun illegally with the intent to use it illegally. Democrats seem to have a difficult time understanding this. Like cars that run into crowds of BLM /ANITFA trash, it is the driver of the vehicle, not the vehicle itself at fault. Democrats always blame the manufacturer. Whether it is a beneficial pain killing drug that regular people are unable to get because of drug addicts, a protester throwing cement filled bottles, or a gang banger shooting children, the weapons of destruction / death are made weapons of destruction / death by the end user, not the manufacturer.

Social media companies are also immune for the damages that they freely spread over society today yet I don't see or hear Coumo calling for the removal of their protections. Facebook, Twitter and others have spread more hate and damaging lies and helped to organize more protests that anyone yet hide behind their "free speech" protections. Yet if someone utters a word that they do not agree with they are slapped with suspension for violation of policy. Social media is like the Democrats and Cuomo, selectively choosing who the winners and losers are.

Federal law prevents these garbage, nuisance lawsuits against gun manufacturers.
And there are NO lawsuits possible against the "vaccine" makers, no matter how many people they kill. Last I saw, at least 6,000 dead from the vaccine, according to CDC's VAERS system, which is certain to be a serious undercounting.

Don Andrew Cuomo is just opening up a new NuYawk black market for "the family". He can't keep narcotics out of NuYawk and he won't be able to keep "the family" and drug gang's "tools of the trade" out either.
