A federal judge in Georgia declined to block portions of the recently passed Georgia election law after an organization filed a legal challenge that sought to invalidate parts of the mandate.
The Coalition for Good Governance, a left-leaning group that describes itself as an election security group, opposed the Election Integrity Act of 2021’s provision that voters request absentee ballots at least 11 days ahead of Election Day. The suit also asked the court to intervene to rescind restrictions on election observers.

We hear much about individual “rights” these days, but very little about personal responsibilities. That’s untenable. Our freedom to exercise the former cannot long exist without accepting our duty to fulfill the latter.
Yes, failing to enforce rights leads to despotism. But the opposite can be almost as bad. Allowing people to openly shirk their moral obligations generates moral dissipation, cultural decadence, and precipitous social decline.(snip)There is a ready curative—if municipal leaders would only find the courage apply the lesson. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the DOJ, Kristen Clarke, declared that state laws protecting girls’ sports from infiltration by gender-confused boys “single out and target transgender youth” and “violate both the Constitution and Title IX.” She added that state laws banning “gender-affirming” procedures for youth are “rooted in bias and prejudice.”
LinkedIn has reinstated the account of mRNA vaccine technology inventor Dr. Robert Malone, who said his page was deleted last week after he made comments about mRNA COVID-19 vaccines and questioned whether they’re appropriate to give to certain groups of people.
In a Twitter post on Monday evening, Malone said he’d received a “very kind and personal note from a senior executive of LinkedIn,” and shared, with permission, an anonymized version of the message.

Public school enrollment in 2020–2021 fell by 3 percent nationally compared to a year earlier, according to preliminary data from the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), with pre-K and kindergarten jointly seeing a sharp 13-percent drop.
