Parents also began singing the Star-Spangled Banner when the board abruptly ended public comment due to the eruptions from the crowd in the room.

Why do normal people have to leave when race rioters and communists are allowed to burn entire cities? And why didnt the crowd lock the cops in their own handcuffs? And just who are these school board people that they can just tell the public to shut up?

After the antics of blm and antifa for the last two to three years, how can this type of crowd be deemed as too rowdy? Were they all dressed in black? Did they have masks (not the Wuhan kind) on? Molotav cocktails? Did the parents physically attack any of the board members or the mother of a badly confused and messed up child? Did they rail against the police and throw things at them? Rowdy? I doubt it.

The school board is worried about critical race theory, trans bathroom accommodations, and the use of gender pronouns. And the school board wonders why parents are upset? Guess they forgot they are a school board and should focus on education, learning, buildings, and personal. Leave the PC stuff out of school governance.

This is the wealthiest county in the country and used to be blood Red. I lived there (on the “poor” end of county) for 24 years and watched it turn Blue due to a massive influx of DC bureaucrats and immigrants, both legal and illegal. It started during the Clinton years with the massive expansion of government. The once rural and beautiful county is now being turned into an ant farm of condos and shopping centers, and the lands I used to ride my horse on are now filled with McMansions because the former owners couldn’t afford the skyrocketing taxes. It’s completely true that leftists destroy everything they touch.

Well done, flipped the tables on the radicals by beating them at their own game. They are the establishment and we, like our 1776 forefathers, are the new "radicals" fighting for freedom against the very same enemy dressed in 21st century vocabulary. "Two arrests were reportedly made for trespassing after some parents refused to leave." I wholly sympathize with those parents and other attendees. The members of the School Board of Loudon County are tearing the public schools apart, BUT: Based on the Article these arrests are probably lawful. It seems there was sufficient commotion to justify the Police to instruct those two attendees to vacate that meeting room. Why those two? It's probably because they were personally instructed by a police officer to "Leave this room now" but they refused - most likely with a firm "Screw you! I'm not leaving." The two who refused to leave probably committed a misdemeanor often called "Trespass ab initio." Such cases are easy to prove in court and can seldom be defended by any VALID claim based on the First Amendment and/or other defenses based on the Constitution of the U.S. or of Virginia. Before long the parents of Loudon County public school students will probably solve these School Board problems because they have the necessary strength, will of purpose, intelligence and money. They clearly see the extent to which this School Board and other recently elected ultra-leftwing local officials are tearing apart beautiful - and previously peaceful - Loudon County. It's very much worth saving!!!

Parents, please go to meetings at your child's school, know who is on the school board, who is running for school board and vote. It is important to show up and VOTE. Make them aware that you are involved and watching. It is very sad for a child when parents do not care enough about him/her to be involved in their education.
