Rudy Giuliani’s law license was suspended by the New York Supreme Court on Thursday for making false statements related to voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election, according to court papers. The court ruled there is “uncontroverted evidence” that Giuliani made false statements while he was acting as legal counsel for former President Donald Trump.“These false statements were made to improperly bolster respondent’s narrative that due to widespread voter fraud, victory in the 2020 United States presidential election was stolen from his client,” the ruling stated.
What a friggin joke. It's almost impossible to get your law license pulled even if you are a total nozzle like Avenatti, but they are johnny-on-the-spot here about Giuliani stating an OPINION, not in open court. Its not like he ever had the ability to argue in open court, given the court's refusal to hear election cases.

Giuliani may now sue, and demand discovery and if such evidence is not forthcoming a ruling, I think of ceriatori? And ask for damages.

This will never be upheld. It's just more harassment by the har-asses in the NY judicial/quasi-legal system where it's now lawfare 24x7 and the process is the punishment.

What are they going to do to compensate Giuliana when they prove the election was fraught with cheating? I hope he sues the life out of them.

Remember, it’s never done with proof nor evidence. They key is the allegation and whether it is serious enough to make a narrative. Half the lawyers in NY would be disbarred if they looked at outlandish statements.

If he made false statements about the number of absentee ballots in PA it could only have been because the data he repeated from the Secretary of State was false. There is documentary evidence of the numbers he reported from multiple sources and unless he misspoke or had a lapse of memory he can only report what he was told by other officials. If the SoS lied about the election totals then they should be the one under investigation.

If I am reading this right, and I admit that is questionable.
They temporarily suspended him without his presence and without giving him an opportunity to defend himself against the charges. Pending an appeal that he has 20 days to make.
He has 20 days to respond with an appeal but there is no time limit for the hearing of the appeal which might not take place until the 5 democrat Judges feel like it, and in the meanwhile he cannot work at his chosen profession.
It would be fun to know who placed the charges or if the Judges thought them up themselves.
Between New York and California it is hard to imagine that there are Americans living in those 2 States.
I might add that it would be prudent for Southern State to pass laws that would not allow New York residents to move there and subject their States to the political atrocities they displayed while residents of New York.

The New York Supreme Court? I don't think that's the highest court in the state in New York. I hear will surely appeal. This is totally political.

The New York Supreme Court should be suspended for making false statements about the absolutely correct opinion of Rudy Giuliani, that the last presidential election was fraudulent, ie, “stolen”. Like the origin and purpose of the current “pandemic”, this will all become apparent in time. Unless the Real End preceds it.

Always remember that Rudy prosecuted a large number of organized crime figures, Wall Street crooks, and corrupt politicians. These people never forget and now that they are back in power with the illegitimate Biden regime they are all about getting revenge.

In some ways, I think New York is more evil than California. And the New York / New Jersey Mafia types of old, angelic, compared to the politicians and bureaucrats that run those places.

#12, ruling was made by New York Supreme Court Appellate Division. The highest Court is the NY Court of Appeals which is what near every other State calls their Supreme Court.
As with everyone else, what happens when AZ, GA and PA establish election fraud? Something tells me Rudy will not accept a simple apology!

In New York the Supreme Court is the trial level court. Had to do with taking over the established court system from the British after the revolution.
