OAKLAND — Oakland police say roughly 5,000 people were hanging out on Lakeshore Avenue when gunfire erupted Saturday evening. The mass shooting at Lake Merritt injured six people and killed a 22-year-old San Francisco man. “All I saw was the gunshot. It was like ‘pop! pop! pop!'” said a witness who feared retaliation and declined to provide his name. “After they shot the people, the bullets hit the ground five feet away from me. I was like, ‘oh my f**ing God,’ excuse my language.” Police arrested two men and recovered two guns. No motive has been determined and it is

And no fireworks on July 4th at Mt. Rushmore, meanwhile if your in the democRAT sphere of influence, 5000 hang out at a festival is OK. Remember black lives matter except when they don't.

The lady's comment in this video says it better than I can.
This happened in Shreveport, LA, a few months ago, but HER comment applies to this event.

A group of Black people, shot by black people, afraid to discuss black people for fear of retaliation. Maybe the Juneteeth holidays will also become known a Black Purge Day (like the Purge movies) due to all of the shooting and killing. Mostly black on black.

I knew this would happen!
White supremacists couldn't stand the sight of black people joyously celebrating their new holiday - - so they started shooting them. "Celebrating while black" - - is the latest racist crime.

Blacks celebrating the Republicans freeing them from the Democrats' slavery by killing people.
As they say, "You wouldn't understand, it's a black thing."
Yep, I sure don't understand.

Who couldn't have predicted this? No motive? If you can't figure out the motive, you haven't been paying attention for the past 50 years.

The shooters were probably mad because their unemployment claim expired and a few people weren’t wearing masks.

Get drunk.
Get high.
Have sex with strangers.
Break things.
Get into fights.
Shoot one another.
Its called a party.
Actually most would call it self-destructive behavior.
Wise up, and stupid stuff like this wouldn't happen.
When will they ever learn?

Looks like an NBA championship win party.
“Something good happens. Let’s destroy things and kill people. Have done FUN! “
Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Way back in my memory banks, the event known as Juneteenth was called the June 19th Emancipation Celebration in Texas and it was mostly a legitimate black family gathering type of event. White democrats have done more to poison June 19th celebrations than the blacks when it was a regional affair in Texas. In 1980, when Texas made Juneteenth a state holiday, I was in college about 35 miles from the epicenter of Juneteenth celebrations in Texas. I've always enjoyed history, so I availed myself of the special Texas Collection of old documents, diaries, and manuscripts held in a library on the campus of Baylor University. There were documents containing oral histories of former slaves, as well as the former Confederate soldiers, who returned to Texas after the war ended. The June 19th Emancipation Celebrations date back to the mid-1860s, when there were thousands of former slaves living in Central Texas after being released from bondage on cotton farms along the Blackland Prairie. In the early gatherings from 1866 through the early 1900s, these former slaves told their stories and answered questions about slavery among their kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, until they died off. The main event was one of the elders reading or reciting from memory the message delivered by the US Army informing the slaves that they were free Americans. The celebrations continued over the years and I never knew a white Texan who had any problem with understanding why the descendants of slaves would revere the historical event. Once the professional race hustlers, "community organizers," and white progressives highjacked the Emancipation Celebration, the real meaning, to which any freedom-loving American could relate, has become bastardized by the white hating, anti-American focus of today's Obama-esq and BLM driven Juneteenth free-for-all. The pride that the actual former slaves held in being full Americans is no longer evident in 2021 and I blame white democrats for that tragedy and how they continue to use blacks to further their own interests in gaining and wielding power over others.

#13, another memory of Juneteenth in Texas is the joy of life of the celebrants. The Blacks in the community gathered in small groups in the local towns, happy and smiling. And I associate the aroma of BBQ with Juneteenth. Overall, it was just a happy day.

Only one reason why the race of the shooters were not included in the story.

It's so surprising there was violence - and in such a lovely neighborhood. That city should just pass out guns to everybody and let them have a ball. Just like NYC and Chicago.

This is in a relatively wealthy area near South Bend, Indiana. Juneteenth celebration results in loss of "amish" lad and bullet holes in nearby establishments.

Based upon all the violence that has been occurring in the big leftist and socialist run cities recently what would you expect?
