Residents of a Minneapolis neighborhood were unnerved Thursday morning after body parts believed to be from a White male in his 30s were found in two locations, according to a report. The remains were "fresh," not yet showing signs of decomposition, a police spokesman told FOX 9 of Minneapolis, adding that the case was being investigated as a homicide. The initial grisly discovery was made by a passerby around 9:30 a.m., spokesman John Elder told the station. "We don’t know where the body came from," Elder said. Crime in Minneapolis keeps getting more grisly. This sounds like a serial killer's work.

A police spokesperson said the crime is being investigated as a homicide? That's silly. The guy obviously cut himself in pieces and left part of himself in one place and walked to another where he left the rest.

Shocked Shocked to find out gambling is going on in this establishment. Defund the police and arresting them for taking drug addled felons off the streets is usually going to make crime worse.

In late May and early June 2020, looters smashed storefronts in the Bronx and Manhattan boroughs of New York City. Many were caught on tape, some with their faces visible. Others even posted their own videos of their actions those nights on social media. Hundreds were arrested. But a review of NYPD data by the investigative team at WNBC, the NBC owned station in New York, shows that a large percentage of the cases — particularly in the Bronx — were dismissed, and that many convictions were for counts like trespassing that carry no jail time. ''I was in total shock that

NEW YORK -- The declaration of Juneteenth as a federal holiday is putting the pressure on more U.S. companies to give their employees the day off, accelerating a movement that took off last year in response to the racial justice protests that swept the country. Hundreds of top companies had already pledged last year to observe Juneteenth in the wake of the police killing of George Floyd and the national reckoning on racism that followed. But most private companies take their cues from the federal government — the country's largest employer — in drawing up their holiday calendars. President Joe Biden signed legislation

The Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeted more than 500 points in a broad-based sell-off Friday, wrapping up its worst week in nearly eight months as investors fretted over interest rates. The Dow fell 533.37 points to 33,290.08, a 1.58% decline, while the S&P 500 dropped 55.41 points, or 1.3%, to 4,166.45. U.S. President Joe Biden's administration has the power to stymie oil and gas development on government-controlled lands and waters, industry and environmental experts said, even though a court decision ended his freeze on federal drilling auctions. Some options, they said, include offering sparse acreage or imposing more time-consuming permitting requirements. "We lived through the Obama administration, and they did a lot of things to constrain leasing and other activity on federal lands," Kathleen Sgamma, president of industry trade group Western Energy Alliance, said in an interview. "And frankly they have the power to do so." In January, Biden temporarily suspended

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A Colorado Springs home dubbed as 'not for the faint of heart' has been listed in Colorado Springs. The dilapidated house features profane graffiti on almost every wall, soiled carpets from an illegal pet rescue run out of the residence and a broken refrigerator in the basement filled with rancid meat left more than a year earlier when the tenant was evicted. Even still, the house is listed for $590,000 cash. "We have an expression 'if it smells it wont sell,'" said Mimi Foster, the listing agent with Falcon Property Company. "I am putting that to the

Tap through TikTok and you'll fall down a slang-filled, dance-crazed rabbit hole a la "Alice in Wonderland." A piece of advice: Don't repeat everything you hear on your sojourn down. Especially if you are white. White people – on social media and in real life – regularly appropriate African-American Vernacular English (AAVE) like "slay" and "sis" without thinking, and some of these phrases come directly from the Black LGBTQ community. Experts say this perpetuates racism, erases Black contributions and fuels cultural misunderstandings. Simply put: It's Black linguistic appropriation. US President Joe Biden delivered a stern warning Wednesday to Russian leader Vladimir Putin over ransomware attacks emanating from Russia, saying he was prepared to retaliate against any more cyber assaults on American infrastructure. Speaking after the two leaders' first summit in Geneva, Biden said he laid down the line on Moscow not taking action against hackers who have extorted hundreds of millions of dollars from western governments, companies, and organisations from the safety of Russian soil. "I pointed out to him we have significant cyber capability and he knows it," Biden said in a press conference after their talks.

The Biden administration on Tuesday made tens of thousands of Central American immigrants in the U.S. eligible to petition for their children to come to the country legally as part of an effort to discourage youths from journeying to the southern border. Shortly after taking office, President Biden ordered officials to revive the Obama-era Central American Minors program, which originally allowed certain at-risk children in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador to come to the U.S. as long as their parents had secured legal status in the country. The Obama administration portrayed the program as an alternative to the often perilous

There is one big thing wrong with the American dream of owning one's own home: the price. Now that the pandemic is easing across much of the country, prices are skyrocketing — just like at the peak of the housing bubble, houses are being snapped up for well over the asking price in a matter of hours. The Case-Shiller home price index saw an annualized growth rate of 13.3 percent in March, the highest figure in more than seven years. All this is a consequence of the American idea, and the goofy system we've constructed to prop it up, that homes

Newsmax released an article this week that gives voice to further distrust of America’s once-premiere law enforcement agency. The column was based on a series of questions and concerns presented by Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) regarding the still murky details around the January 6th storming of the Capitol building. Two questions lobbed at the FBI are both haunting and disheartening: “What did the FBI know? And when did they know it?” The fact that the agency responsible for investigating the lawlessness of that date is itself under scrutiny is alarming.
