In his motion for a new trial, former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, through his attorney Eric Nelson, made an obvious point. Quoting case law, Nelson reminded the court of “the prosecutor’s inherently unique role in the criminal justice system, which mandates that the prosecutor not act as a zealous advocate for criminal punishment, but as the representative of the people in an effort to seek justice.”
Had the State prosecutors set out to honor this mandate and seek justice, they would not have presented the medical evidence they did. In fact, they would not have charged Derek Chauvin with second-degree murder or charged his colleagues as accomplices.

The trachea is not compressed by kneeling on the side of the neck. You would have to kneel on the front of the neck to do that. And there are two carotid arteries so if one is compressed, the other is OK. Just what a retired vascular surgeon explained to me from the start of the charges.

In this case, evidence has little weight. It's the optics and public opinion...and they're not good. The judges and prosecutors have elections coming up.

Jacob Bauer of Pleasanton California. Look up this 2019 case, folks, it is the TWIN to George Floyd’s Excited Delirium death, the only element missing being police kneeling on his back. The complete event from the time the police stop him to his death is on video. I called Eric Nelson’s office and gave them the name and case but they didn’t use it.

#1, thank you. Furthermore, the vertebral arteries, which are posterior to the carotid arteries and supply the brainstem, are largely housed by the foramen of the cervical spine, giving them a lot of protection.
Folks, it looks like we are are headed toward a food shortage, if the drought in the western U.S. continues. Who do you think will get the food? The feral humans will line up at night and loot the grocery stores while the shelves are being stocked before the rest of us have a chance to get there.
It's going to be a long and violent year.

This was never about justice!!!
It was about sacrificing a good man who just did his job to appease the evil masses of racist thugs to try to keep them from looting and burning and rioting and destroying!!! And, of course, it didn't work. They still loot and burn and riot and destroy every chance they get. It didn't appease them, it empowered them!!!

Another good job by Jack on this hideous miscarriage of justice.
The evidence has been very clear from the beginning that Floyd died from massive drug overdose interacting with his pre-existing heart problems, and that nothing that the officers did harmed Floyd whatsoever.
The key thing that these lying thugs-with-badges did was intimidate the doctor who did the autopsy into changing his comments SLIGHTLY, and then built on that tiny, tiny change to "prove" a lie.
And why no discussion of the fact that Minn. PD had worked with the Minneapolis Medical School to develop this particular 'knee on neck/shoulder' position as the safest restraint position for a person suffering from excited delirium? This exact position was shown in a photo as the recommended restraint in the MPD training manual.

#6....I don't know what western states you are referring to, but I just got back from southern Colorado and everything there is the greenest and most lush and wet that I have seen in 25 years. And all across Kansas, everything is the same. A very wet year, and the wheat crops are looking fantastic, and I saw several new, very large grain storage facilities nearing completion, too.

Like General Flynn, Chauvin has had a huge chunk of his life stolen and loaded with stress, shame and threats. You can't ever get that back. Only Leftist criminals get out of jail overnight with no bail and no trial.

But, I thought the court of public opinion had already spoken that since Chauvin is white he should be sentenced to death regardless of the evidence.

Same here in Georgia #9. The flowers all over the area had the biggest blooms I have ever seen and the fields are as green as Ireland. We have had a very wet and cool spring here in North Georgia....great weather.

How many murder trials do not have the forensic pathologist who did the autopsy testify? I cant think of one.

I am truly sorry about this. Chauvin was railroaded by a kangaroo court. The verdict had already come out. It was up to the jury to confirm the verdict. You cannot acquit someone when the victim has already received a huge monetary payout.
The jurors knew what would happen to them, should they fail to convict. They would have been executed by BLM and Antifa. It was a done deal.
Floyd died because he made many wrong choices: using counterfeit money, using drugs, not taking care of himself, and resisting arrest. A normal person would have accepted the offer of transportation to a health facility. Not Floyd.
Medical techs could not get to Floyd; he was already surrounded by a blood-crazed mob.
Chauvin will spend his life in jail for a crime he did not commit.

Chauvin was convicted to keep the natives from rioting.
That's the truth and the whole of it.
He is a white sacrifice, to the AA natives.
