Salvation Army going 'woke'
with anti-racism document

Original Article

The Salvation Army — best known for its red kettle donation stands at Christmas—has released a racial reconciliation curriculum urging its members to apologize for past racial sins. In “Let’s Talk About Racism,” the evangelical organization declares: “[A]s we engage in conversations about race and racism, we must keep in mind that sincere repentance and apologies are necessary if we want to move towards racial reconciliation … Perhaps you don’t feel as if you personally have done anything wrong, but you can spend time repenting on behalf of the Church and asking for God to open hearts and minds to the issue of racism.”

Comments:

The communists promised to "Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with 'social' religion," and in this they've been quite successful.

As often happens, people working outside New America see right though the subterfuge. FTA: "Voddie Baucham, a Baptist preacher who currently serves as dean of theology at African Christian University in Zambia, said the Salvation Army might be engaged in 'virtue signaling' with the document. Mr. Baucham wrote a 2021 book, “Fault Lines: The Social Justice Movement and Evangelicalism’s Looming Catastrophe,” in which he attacks critical race theory as being Marxist."

Oh, I see. So an organization that, for decades, has so successfully embraced people who need help in getting a fresh start after a troubled past are going to undo all of that real progress to embrace exactly the opposite. The SA has steadfastly been a safe "home" for people who want help in learning to be healthy and productive, who want to travel a path to a clean, possibility-filled life. This is heartbreaking. No more donations of any kind, whether clothing, household goods, or money. What pathetic dummies.

I was getting ready to donate some nice clothes and household goods to them, but now I will find a veterans organization to donate them to. All this racial turmoil is about getting big money from reparations, but it will never work. Too many what-abouts. What about mixed race people? What about black families that came to the US after slavery? What about future generations? I never owned slaves. No one alive today was ever a slave. I doesn't sound nice, but someone needs to say "get over it".

Before Obama we didn't need any racial reconciliation. We were moving along fine. Then after a bunch of morons elected our first half black president his true colors came out. All of a sudden he put our country back over a hundred years. They have their own black colleges, their own tv networks, their own radio stations, they are in every tv commercial, every magazine advertisement every department store catalog, their practically own the NBA and NFL, they are doctors, lawyers, police officers, firemen, teachers and in every other profession. Every company hires them over other more qualified applicants and every college admits them over students with higher scores. I could go on and on but you get my point. But, today and since Obama, all that is not good enough. Now we're called racists. What racists give all that was given to one group who are about 14% of the population and still be called racists. We're a sick freakin country taken over by marxists, that's what we are. Wake up. Get it yet..

Iowa’s Medicaid system must cover gender confirmation surgery, a judge ruled Friday. Polk County District Court Judge William P. Kelly ruled that a state law that blocked Medicaid from covering gender confirmation procedures violated the Iowa Civil Rights Act and the Iowa Constitution—allowing trans Iowans to receive coverage for medically necessary surgery to treat gender dysphoria. Gender dysphoria is defined as a “marked incongruence between their experienced or expressed gender and the one they were assigned at birth.” It is a serious medical condition that often begins in childhood, even though some people may not experience it until after puberty or even later, according to the American Psychiatric Association.

The company—one of America's last remaining true dollar stores—said Tuesday it will raise prices from $1 to $1.25 on the majority of its products by the first quarter of 2022. The change is a sign of the pressures low-cost retailers face holding down prices during a period of rising inflation. Dollar Tree (DLTR) said in a quarterly earnings release Tuesday that its decision to raise prices to $1.25 permanently, however, was "not a reaction to short-term or transitory market conditions."
