While an evening at the beach usually spells flip flops and casual gear, the First Ladies of the G7 didn't disappoint in the glamour stakes as they stepped out in Carbis Bay for a barbecue last night Newlywed Carrie Johnson, 33, continued to show her style prowess, swapping the blue power suit she wore earlier in the day for a £295 rented floral dress from Damselfly London, which she teamed with £149 loafers from Air and Grace London. Also opting for a blue colour scheme was First Lady Jill Biden, who donned a custom-made white dress with a statement butterfly print from Brandon Maxwell, wrapping a blue shawl around her shoulders

A lesson on how to spend a lot money and still look frumpy. P.S. that seated " social distancing " thing is pure B.S. They are pictured standing right next to each other.

Jill Biden looks like an old street walker.
The media bias is these glowing fashion reviews (and Moochelle who belonged in the pages of Strange But True, not Vogue) compared to how they treated the actual fashion icon of Mrs. Trump is probably the easiest to grasp of pathetic media bias.

Jill has no style. Same hairstyle she had when she was 17? Body thickening. And she will always dress like a Delaware housewife.

So was Jill cold? Is it cold in England right now. For all the money she spends on clothes, she never looks good. Must be democrats. Remember Mooch's inauguration dress, looked like a chenille bedspread?

Whatever happened to a nice - well-fitting - pair of black or white summer slacks topped with a contrasting casual sleeved sweater/blouse for a bbq? Couture, rented, or recycled... these gals are all trying way too hard and seem uncomfortably out of place, except for the lovely Japanese woman who got almost no mention for her always appropriate style. I'm sure there's no need for snark in the Tokyo papers.

Actually London certainly has a summer but today it wasn’t that hot. Sun was really beating down though. Did you catch those big shades Joe was wearing? Oh brother. Jill was rumpled and she clumps along like Michelle used to do. Jill needs a new younger wig.

DOCTOR Jill still has that ugly band-aid on her leg. That's a real fashion statement all right! What a frump.

At least those frumps don't have to worry about being eclipsed by the lovely Melania any longer.

The Daily Mail should knock off stating the price of every outfit the the UK Prime Minister’s spouse has been wearing as nobody cares about that as they know all her outfits are bound to be expensive. Who cares if she was smart and rented some of the expensive clothing that she has been wearing as in her social strata she can only wear an outfit once or publications like the Daily Mail would be trying to make it world news if she ever wore the same outfit twice.

Too bad it was a sunny day. Where's that cold, wet, overcast British weather when you actually need it?

They look so frumpy even without comparison to Melania. And that’s only on the outside. None of them come close to having Melania’s class and good heart.

Jill looks absurd as a 70 year old woman with her bleached 1970’s Farrah Fawcett hairstyle. She must be using the same stylist that Illary uses. And apparently she doesn’t own a hair brush.

Unless you are Hyacinth Bucket, who exactly dresses like that for a seaside cookout?* I agree, Jill looks fairly wrinkly and dried up. Outfit isn't bad... but not for the beach.
*I refuse to use the word barbeque. Barbeque is a type of food not an event when you use a grill to cook something outside. That is grilling or a cookout.

When we lived on the Southern California coast, we used to invite friends for harbor cocktail cruises. I had white lineny wide legged pants (intended to look unironed). The same in khaki. With a black top, great look with sandals. Or a long print cotton skirt with a top. I don’t understand silk sheath dresses at the beach… and WTH is a “statement butterfly print”?

The media really love the Dr. prefix for her. It makes it seem like she accomplished something. Meanwhile her academic work to 'earn' that degree won't be accepted at a Community College, if it weren't for her connections to the 'big guy.' Think the media will EVER bring up her absurd thesis?
