Joe Biden was today accused of breaching royal protocol by revealing the Queen asked him about Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping during their talks at Windsor Castle - and for not removing his sunglasses. The US President, who visited the monarch with his wife Jill Biden yesterday following the G7 summit in Cornwall last week, said she 'wanted to know' about the Russian and Chinese presidents and they had a 'long talk'.Mr Biden told reporters before leaving London Heathrow Airport yesterday: 'We had a great talk. She wanted to know what the two leaders that I… the one I'm about to meet with, Mr Putin,
Pretentiously treating the Royals royally isn't something that her non-subjects should go out of their ways to attend to. I don't have a problem with the Bidens on this issue.

I honestly can't get upset about this. As much as I admire the QoE, she's not in our chain of command. We seem to have dealt with not being governed by a monarch somewhere in our past.

It’s rude to wear sunglasses when you’re talking to someone, regardless of their status.

He's always been a fool, always been an arrogant jerk. And on top of all that lifelong baggage of stupidity and uncaring arrogance, today we add a layer of dementia.
The man was an embarrassment 30 years ago, and is beyond embarrassing today.

Bad boy, biden you cheater. Bad boy for blowing Putie's and Xi's cover.
As for the sunglasses, he probably has to wear them outside because his eyes are grossly dilated from the dementia medications he is on.

I agree with the voicers before me I couldn't give a rats patooie about royal protocol, that why General Washington and the American Patriots fought to be rid of England. As for wearing sunglasses, if it's outdoors, I will keep my sunglasses on no matter who I talk to, I have a really bad sensitivity to bright light or sunlight from my post-concussion syndrome. if I don't wear sunglasses I will have the headache from Haiti.

My goodness, when did common courtesy go out of style. If there is protocol somewhere, why would you not follow it? Sounds like smug, arrogant, stupid democrats who are too stupid to understand being polite. However, I'm sure the Queen has run into lowlife's before.

Your Majesty, since Joe doesn’t even know where he’s at, if you asked him those questions, you would have been better off asking about his favorite ice cream.

The illegal president of this country lacks many graces, couth among them. When in Rome do as the Romans do is a saying that still holds good today. It seems demo socialists go out of their way to offend and have a lock on social rudeness. But what else do you expect from that lying ,dissembling crowd?

, the rf is now freely meddling in the US political scene from their crib in kalifornia .. Using their insolent “royal “ status to opine on all things American including the 2nd amendment.. the rf deserves a few clap backsas they are encouraging the markles by their silence .

Oh quit it, Daily Mail Palace sycophants. We respect the Queen but hey, I saw no apologies from her about the rude and classless way London and her Senior Royals treated our President Trump - TWICE. Our “special” ally should have been highly embarrassed or at least have CARED when it was exposed their intelligence agencies were helping with that phony Russian dossier. I do not recall an apology there either. So I really am not bothered by Biden’s predictable behavior here.

Queen, or no queen. When your talking to somebody, take the sunglasses off. It's rude. The speaker would like to know if your paying attention to what they are saying, and not looking around.

In England, you should follow the rules and treat the Queen with respect, according to protocol. Here in America, we can be good hosts but not grovel like subjects.

Feelings about Royals aside, I'm in the camp of exhibiting respect for a friend and ally. That doesn't diminish us in any way, and speaks to what is civil and gracious. Bandaids on bare legs with bare feet are disgusting. Joe's advance team could have addressed the issue of sunlight blinding him so a different spot could have been agreed upon. He looks like a perv trying to be a macho player.
And we'll never really know what the Queen thinks.

I'm a Navy JROTC instructor. Our first year high school cadets learn respect and manners. An example of showing respect is "Removing your sunglasses before speaking to someone." Got that? One should learn that early in life. We know that old Joe NEVER learned much about respect. Remember how he behaved at Justice Thomas's Supreme Court nomination? I have NO respect for old Joe, and I can say that because I'm retired. (I would never say that in front of my cadets.)

#9, I've had a headache from hades, and even worse that landed me in the hospital. What is a "headache from Haiti"?
As for following "protocol" there's a reason for it. Some of compliance is politeness, some is consideration, some of it tradition, some of it security. I think the Queen deserves respect. She has shown amazing impartiality in the way she has engaged with American Presidents of both Parties. Remember when the doltDems were hoping the Queen would snub President Trump?
The sunglasses. Looked ridiculous. Biden may have eye issues, but he does go without sometimes, AND he also squints till a little slit of eyeballs remains. Sometimes his eyes look black (all pupil?) sometimes blue. Regardless, he is feeble, slurs his speech, blurs what he says, scuffles, totters, mind-wandering non-sensical.
He isn't harmless as he is led by malign children.
Heaven help us.

For those of you who are not bothered by this, please remember that protocol is a two-way street. If we don’t follow the protocols of other countries when our “leaders” visit them, don’t expect them to follow our protocols when they visit here.

Biden would have been better off retiring as a mediocre politician with no real accomplishments and a a fair amount of Obama baggage. Instead he will go down as classless (along with his wife), demented, and just a damned fool.

Every country’s rules of protocol and courtesy should be respected on such an important diplomatic trip. Others described Biden’s silly sunglasses so I won’t even go there. It was never expected that the very tacky Bidens were going to exhibit the manners and impeccable appearance that the Trumps did on their visits. The UK is no longer the deeply affectionate friend and ally to America they once were and that is fine to bring up as well. Its just a fact.
The Royals and the other so-called allies we saw at the G7 yesterday now have far more loyalty to each other than they do to us. They like us for our financial contributions to their well-being and security.

Fellow posters--Queen Elizabeth II is the legitimate Head of State of the UK and the Commonwealth. Protocol for her has to be respected just as with the PM or an elected/appointed head of state. Good manners, to start. *Biden wore the sunglasses through the event except for the final staged picture to not reveal how the meds have made him extremely light sensitive since his eyes are heavily dilated.
Regarding revealing topics discussed, *Biden was far too specific and (read it) put it into a context where it seemed the Queen was asking him for advice. When Trump mentioned Brexit, he was 1) differentiating himself from Zeotoro who threatened the UK over Brexit, but 2) complimenting her for her discussion on the complexity of the matter. He revealed exactly zero.
The horse laugh here is that *Biden actively in the Senate supported the IRA, and continues to do so. The IRA is not only a terrorist organization but also has seeded other global terrorist organizations.
Now let's get to 'dr.' Jill. I posted this elsewhere. Jillie dresses about 20 years too young and looks like a warmed-over Real Housewives of Orange County reject. The powder blue suit when meeting Queen Elizabeth was a perfect example of her vanity and inappropriateness on important occasions. This is a woman who has stylists on call. It was a single button suit in a color that distracted from the Queen. The worst aspect was the obvious tightness at the waist creating pulls and wrinkles in the worst place and making her hips look huge. Another was that the sleeves were too long. The other was that the skirt creased right in the front. The fabric was awful and cheap looking--Wrinkle Hell across the board.
No hose, bare feet in shoes that photographed like mottled boats....and a bandage on the right leg. Good God!!
Again, it may seem petty, but the only real function of a First Lady is to show up when appropriate and present well. At least her outfits don't make the eyes bleed, like Mickey's Linebacker Specials.

If Biden did not realize that when he was talking to the Queen that he was really talking with a person who is in essence is the ultimate British intelligence agent, he is going to be unable from being “rolled” by adversarial and very crafty foreign leaders like Putin. Clearly what Biden talked with the Queen about should always have been considered as being high level confidential intelligence between the UK and the USA.
