Many of us older than half a century no longer recognize the country we grew up in. We have a hard time reconciling that past America with what we see happening today. America, to our view, was predominantly a place of light, freedom, and joy. Now, as we witness a massing storm of iniquity, we either don’t understand what we’re seeing or we choke back the language to describe it because the words all sound too harsh or politically incorrect. We look for other demons to blame such as Socialism, and Marxism, and while they are definitely part of the problem,

COVID shutdowns championed by U.S. governors and D.C. bureaucrats are responsible for destroying nearly 40% of small businesses since the virus was unleashed on the world—and we know now that it was for little to no damned good reason. A study by the Proceedings of the National Academies of Sciences revealed recently that shutdown orders made little to no difference in COVID’s impact. From the abstract of the study:
“Previous studies have claimed that shelter-in-place orders saved thousands of lives, but we reassess these analyses and show that they are not reliable. We find that shelter-in-place orders had no detectable health benefits, only modest effects on behavior,
I've known for well over a year now that we had an effective treatment for COVID-19. Hundreds of thousands of Americans could have been saved.
I knew about this simple, safe, inexpensive treatment with remarkable results because I've had a dozen brilliant doctors as guests on my nationally syndicated radio show, "Wayne Allyn Root: Raw and Unfiltered" on USA Radio Network, to talk about their success using Hydroxychloroquine on patients sick with COVID-19.

Had the State prosecutors set out to honor this mandate and seek justice, they would not have presented the medical evidence they did. In fact, they would not have charged Derek Chauvin with second-degree murder or charged his colleagues as accomplices.
US President Joe Biden appeared to breach royal protocol during his first meeting with the Queen.

Last summer, eight-year-old Secoriea Turner got killed because the SUV she was riding in came too close to a particular Wendy’s in Atlanta. Her parents have now filed a lawsuit alleging that city leaders Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Police Chief Rodney Bryant, and City Council member Joyce Sheperd had been negligent in controlling the area, leading to their daughter’s death. The lawsuit also names the city government of Atlanta.
Secoriea’s death followed riots in the city after the death of George Floyd and the arrest of several officers for using excessive force while controlling crowds.

A new study seems to confirm that former President Donald Trump may very well have been right about hydroxychloroquine.
According to the observational study published on MedRxiv that surveyed 255 patients infected with the coronavirus and requiring intermittent mandatory ventilation, weight-adjusted hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin improved the survival of such patients by nearly 200 percent.
“Most Covid studies have not considered days of therapy, cumulative dose, or weight-adjusted dosing. We found that when the cumulative doses of two drugs, HCQ and AZM, were above a certain level, patients had a survival rate 2.9 times the other patients,” the study noted in its conclusion.
When the Democrats took over the House, the Senate and the Presidency after the fraudulent 2020 election, the left was ecstatic. They were primed and ready to stack the Supreme Court, end the filibuster, skew voting laws in their favor, and add 2 new liberal Senators by making Washington DC the 51st state.
Sadly (for Biden), Joe Manchin and other Democrat Senators have been a thorn in their side, promising to never vote to end the filibuster.

My colleague Jennifer Oliver O’Connell reported earlier on a mass shooting in Austin, Texas, late Friday night.
Fourteen people were wounded, with at least two critically-injured during a shooting in downtown Austin.
Two men are suspected of being involved in the shooting, according to the initial reports; although the police later said the number was unclear, but there was a description of one of the suspect.
But it’s what the Austin American-Statesman said about that suspect that is causing a lot of talk today.
