A Michigan man who made headlines after he continued to collect food stamps despite winning the lottery has been found dead in a river. Police recovered the body of 69-year-old Leroy Fick from the Tittabawassee River on June 5. While the Midland Police Department has not publicly disclosed Fick's cause of death, they said the circumstances surrounding the 69-year-old's death do not appear to be suspicious, Mlive.com reported.

Both the victim and the suspect drew guns on each other Thursday night after a heated exchange between the man and a large group of residents. There is the vertical trust between layers within the social hierarchy and there is horizontal trust between members within a segment of society. Social trust is the mortar that holds the blocks of a human society together, but also the grease that keeps the wheels turning. In large-scale human societies, social trust is embodied in the institutions, which are the superstructure of society.

Fourteen people were wounded, with at least two critically-injured during a shooting in downtown Austin.
Two men are suspected of being involved in the shooting, according to the initial reports; although the police later said the number was unclear, but there was a description of one of the suspect.
But it’s what the Austin American-Statesman said about that suspect that is causing a lot of talk today.
