House Republicans planted themselves firmly in the camp of Donald Trump on Wednesday when they removed Rep. Liz Cheney from their leadership team after her criticism of the former president.
In a closed-door meeting in the basement of the Capitol, Republicans voted to oust Cheney after she repeatedly called out Trump's false claims he won the election and criticized his role in the January 6 insurrection.
After a voice vote, Cheney said: ‘I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again, is anywhere near the Oval Office.’ Cheney had addressed Republicans in the room before the vote.
So Liz... THAT was the hill you chose to die on???

Stamping her foot and acting like a petulant child who was told to go to her room without dissert.
Without dignity and a disgrace. Adios Liz.

What is wrong with this woman? She's like the girl in The Exorcist - spewing green miasma with her head spinning around.

Liz and the deep state are going to determine who sits "anywhere near the Oval Office". I can't wait for the 2022 elections in WY.

Her and Mitt can run for POS together. While they are at it, they need to form a 3rd party. I want the GOP back.

Hopefully the voters in Wyoming will put an end to her political career.
The RINO witch has to go. Expect her to be a regular guest on MSNBC.

She self destructed. As I previously stated — in the worst case, Liz Cheney survives a crowded primary and is defeated by a well funded democrat.

Perhaps Ms. Cheney doesn’t know that there are citizens outside of Washington whose interests are meant to be served by Washington. Maybe she doesn’t know that the 1/6 demonstration in Washington was a grassroots-led show of support for Pres. Trump that morphed into a hapless impetuous breech of the Capitol where no one was even remotely hurt except an unarmed protestor. Perhaps our Liz doesn’t realize that she lives in a bubble of greed, power, privilege and hubris that is becoming increasingly obnoxious to many of the rest of us. Perhaps Ms. Cheney doesn’t realize that times have changed and she’s become a dinosaur. McCarthy and Kinzinger are just a couple of untalented con men whose only purpose is to perpetuate their gigs in Congress.

It has to be personal, as she's really acting crazily. Either she hates Trump for some silly personal reason, or she's afraid Trump will uncover some Cheney family personal corruption or similar. Just nutty, and has abandoned all self-awareness.

Liz Cheney makes dire accusations against Donald Trump, but always without substance. He is a threat to the constitution, to freedom, all the usually mantra, but maybe it has more to do with the Cheney association with the Bushes. Was it bitterness over Trump relegating Jeb to outer Mongolia? Could be a lot of things, for sure it was not what she said.

I have to admit that I am surprised that they actually did it.
Pleasantly surprised.
Now if the folks back home will remove her from any political office so overwhelmingly that she won't even be able to git hired as a lobbyist or CNN, MSNBC, FAUX talking head. I'll be quite enthused.

1) Even James Carville admits that 42,000 votes in battleground states, going the other way, would have re-elected Trump. Is it really so impossible to believe in light of the extensive history of fraud by Democrats that fairly counted, Trump did in fact win? (And ballot fraud aside, wasn't the Hunter Biden laptop censorship alone likely worth 42,000 votes?)
2) Does Liz's statement that she would do everything to keep Trump from being president again mean that she would support Biden/Harris/Stacy Abrams/Malcolm X or whoever the Dems run in 2024? (Yes is the answer to that question).
3) Shouldn't she save her personal hatred for the Woke Democrats trying to destroy the country rather than a former president who tried to save it?

It's all about JEB! and her ties to the Bushes. Democrats who wanted to throw her father in jail now say that she has "evolved". Liz will never let this go and will be bitter to the end.

I am not crazy about #16's comment. Donald Trump's personal antics? How would you have handled yourself if you were under constant criticism?
Liz Cheney reminds me of her father. During the Bush-Cheney administration, their stance about illegal immigration and amnesty was "well, Americans won't do those jobs" and that gives me a clue to the elitist attitudes. Liz Cheney is among the elitists.

This hosebeast now has one vote -- the same as everyone else. So her little "threats" mean nothing more than the temper tantrum of a spoiled 3-year-old!!!!
Hate will eat you alive. She needs to learn that now while there is still a chance for her redemption. However, that redemption needs to start with the voters of Wyoming voting her out of office. She will then have lots of free time to think about the evil that she has allowed to consume her life and destroy her political career!!!

what this shows is that you are either a card carrying member of the swamp of you are not. if you are, it's all an inside game where we pick up sides just so we can play the game. No one takes the outcome seriously. If you walk in as a outsider with real talent and want to win, that is not allowed. Notice how nice the bushes have been to people who treated them like dirt (clintons and obamas) and how they never seemed to mind. IT was all because that was part of the game

Go down fighting. Face your political death bravely and just know you died fighting on the side of Satan rather than being loyal and fighting for the God in Heaven that founded this country. Hell awaits you. Have a good time there and just know that for all eternity you will be completely detached from God and totally attached to The Devil Himself and his host of demons along with the hundreds of other "republicans" following you into the Pit.

' False claims? ' commie loving twits from england can keep insisting that is the way it is, but every day adds to the proof that they are not only wrong, but lying about it. It's what evil media liars do. Liz Cheney has a vastly inflated opinion of her power and influence. Also not too bright if she thinks her fellow swamp slime can take back the Republican party. Get on board and support President Trump or be exposed for the two faced liar you are. BTW, your father was a creep.

Its a good day. Let us not be fooled thinking the GOP leadership was stunned at Cheney’s sentiments or beliefs. Cheney is Deep State and she was backed by establishment on purpose. Kevin, Ronna (Romney) McDaniel and Bush, Inc. all knew who she was when they CHOSE her. They like wives of, daughters & sons of so the same donor interests can depend on being serviced. Big donors love that continuity and security. They messed up with volatile obviously unhinged Liz, however.
