Regret is not something Americans generally are comfortable admitting. It implies you were – gasp! – mistaken, wish you’d done something differently. Better then, to just ignore the situation and move on as if nothing happened. That’s where a growing number of Americans seem to be now, over last November’s election and their vote for Joe Biden. Or, more accurately, their vote against Donald Trump. In autumn polling, more than two-thirds of Democrats declared they

I suspect the people who built, ran and operated the machines that stole the election are not filled with remorse. I am reading a multi-volume book on how the Soviets took over the Russian Empire. What I have seen on the web in 2020 and 2021 is almost exactly the same.

Paywall prevented us from reading the entire article, but based on the blurb, i will offer an explanation of why Biden voters might be expressing regret: How would you like it if the guy you voted for has been taking every opportunity to call you a raging racist? that you belong to a systemically racist culture? that no matter how hard you work, and scrimp and save, and pay your bills and raise your children, that you are corrupt and evil and don't deserve anything but punishment and you SHOULD pay higher fuel costs and food costs and bear up under inflation with a heart filled with self-loathing, because you're a racist racist racist?

I know the feeling I felt like that when I voted for McCain then Pierre Delecto. I felt like chopping my voting hand off after that. Too late now but Biden still would have won even if democrats would have stayed home. Paper ballots and Dominion voting machines had it in the bag for old Joe.

Biden's most outrageous promises are either as yet unfulfilled or are being adjusted down from the original promise, i.e. Free college or paid off college loan reduced to $10,000 with noting being paid to date. I will confiscate AR-15s, still waiting for Swallwell to knock on my door or at least show his face in my driveway. Free everything for the sacred cows, affordable housing for the sacred cows, reparations for the sacred cows. The list is long but the fulfillment is short. What makes it worse for them is they are not real Americans, they are freeloading, deadbeat parasites so their sense of entitlement is really tingling.

Every political party as a human institution has its faults. Throughout history, those faults often end up causing the organization’s ultimate demise. The genetic flaw in America’s Democratic Party is its innate proclivity to hand out free stuff – to anyone and everyone. Unless you’re rich, in which case you’re expected to finance the political largesse of America’s oldest surviving political party. [Snip] Now, Joe Biden is taking this free stuff philosophy and grafting it on to American foreign policy. When the 78-year-old president sits down this week in Switzerland with Russia’s 68-year-old President Vladimir Putin, the Democrat will confront the utter uselessness of his generosity.

Seems appropriate that Memorial Day brings back memories. That’s all that’s left of far too many who made those memories with us but are no longer here to share them and make new ones on these annual days of honor for The Fallen. It’s hard sometimes and quite painful for the living to call up memories of the departed, especially if their departure from this life came when they were all alone, far away from us in a lonely, lethal place. And so, too often on these Memorial Days, we

All the recent political buzz about the 2022 midterms has been positive for Republicans taking back control of at least one chamber of Congress and stalling Joe Biden’s increasingly progressive agenda. There’s good reason for that. The GOP need only gain five seats to retire Nancy Pelosi again and make Kevin McCarthy, another Californian, the new House Speaker. [Snip] Of course, the Obamas still got rich, but Democrats have yet to recover from that devastation at the state level. And here comes another congressional redistricting. So, even 536 days out, Republicans were feeling mighty good about Nov. 8, 2022.But hold on, folks.
