All the recent political buzz about the 2022 midterms has been positive for Republicans taking back control of at least one chamber of Congress and stalling Joe Biden’s increasingly progressive agenda. There’s good reason for that. The GOP need only gain five seats to retire Nancy Pelosi again and make Kevin McCarthy, another Californian, the new House Speaker. [Snip] Of course, the Obamas still got rich, but Democrats have yet to recover from that devastation at the state level. And here comes another congressional redistricting. So, even 536 days out, Republicans were feeling mighty good about Nov. 8, 2022.But hold on, folks.

With the way the Demon-Rats mastered the art of election theft this past November, with little more than a whimper from 99.999% of the swamp-creature Republi-Cant's, it really doesn't matter what the "mood" of the country is.
The Demon-Rats will never lose control of either house of Congress, or the presidency, again!!! It's that simple. Sure, they will still allow a few impotent Republi-Can'ts to win to keep up the impression of there still being a 2-party system in this country. But they know it is a joke. They can now steal any election they want, and they will!!!

Citing razor thin polling trends from a Gallup poll with no examination of the poll conditions to predict a first term presidents party to not only retain more than 5 seats in the house but to also extend their majority in the senate is a fools crusade.
2022 is shaping up to be a pretty normal first midterm election for Biden. That means a loss of 15 to 20 seats in the house and maybe 2-4 senate seats. Atlanta, Philadelphia and Minneapolis can't save the democrats this time.

I think we should wait until Trump has a couple of Rallies. If he brings out 30 or 40 Thousand of his followers, I would say Republicans will be fine in 2022. If people are willing to stand in the HOT SUN all day to see Trump, they sure as heck will get out to vote! I think that's a much measure of what will happen in 2022 than any Poll!

#1, we cannot let up the effort to restore integrity to our elections. That starts with sending HR-1 to an unmarked grave.
That said, Mr. Malcolm, if all you're relying on is poll numbers, you should know better. We have seen since 2016 how polls make a goal of discouraging Republican turnout by inflating Democrat prospects.
In 2000 we were introduced to "Broken Glass Republicans" who were committed to defeating Clinton's heir apparent. You ain't seen nothin'.

The last election should make more people realize that it doesn't make a difference who you vote for, it's who counts the votes that matter.

There is likely some truth to this.
The Republicans’ spinelessness is a real turn off for a populace looking for leaders and fighters. I’m not expecting to vote for either a Dem or Republican candidate. The Dems don’t support my worldview, and the Republicans are really just slightly right of the Dems, and are simply useless.
I’ll write in my vote.

As I have mentioned here many times in the past, the words of my high school history teacher from the 70s (a Nixonian Democrat) ring true ... Never underestimate the ability of the national Republican party to screw up a sure thing.

Who thinks they can out vote the machine that’s counting their votes? Anyone? No, I’m not confident about any US elections anymore.

Elections are as worthwhile as fresh dog manure on wet grass. Anybody writing about them is a compromised shill.

Daisymay. Dream on! Trump has his followers and then he has his supporters. I don’t follow anyone, but o do support. I have no time for circuses like Fox News or Trump rallies. If Trump wants to start a New Party like we should be doing, I’m all in, otherwise good luck with your dreams of rallies and getting rid of one Rino Republicans in the primaries only to get another Republican. - “ new boss same as the old boss”
