72-Year-Old Good Samaritan Nearly
Beaten to Death After Stopping to
Help Black Teen with Flat Tire

A 72-year-old good Samaritan was nearly beaten to death after pulling over to help a black teen who was stranded on the side of the highway because of a flat tire. An elderly Missouri man is lucky to be alive after he was violently attacked when he stopped to help a stranded driver on I-35 in Clay County. Jason Jones was driving to Kansas City last week when he saw a couple stranded on the side of the road with a blown out tire. “He was kind of stand-offish, like kind of wish I hadn’t stopped, but I kept asking and they kept saying yes,” Jones told Fox4.

Comments:

Totally unprovoked. It takes nothing for some people to be triggered into horrible violence. Black people like this couple are resurrecting some old stereotypes. Obama's and Biden's America.

In the past I have picked up stranded drivers and I have also been picked up when I was the one who needed help. It's what you do in a civilized society. These days you need to be more careful and "selective" when it comes to who you help. My worst memory was from around 25 years ago when I picked up a very hefty male who was enroute to Kent State University, but ran out of gas. During the entire drive to the next gas station, he was quite rude to me. If he had kept his mouth shut, I would have driven him back to his car.

What is the matter with young blacks? This behavior is not normal. What is missing that allows this kind of behavior? Normal people do not hit other people. Most, not even when provoked. We don’t punch people in the face and stomp on their heads. We don’t slash and stab and shoot others. We don’t sucker punch the elderly on the street. Again, what the heck is missing?

Back many years ago I was driving back to college from home west on I- 20 (about 600 miles) and enroute through Augusta, GA my gas gauge indicated that I was getting a few extra MPG so I bypassed the usual stop for another about 40 miles on. Maybe I could fill up just once more and get to Tuscaloosa. About 25 miles past Augusta the engine died of that unmistakable sound and feel of fuel starvation. 300 miles to school, 300 miles behind me, I was so disgusted with my foolishness. I hadn’t walked about 50 feet when this kind black man stopped, picked me up, took me about 10 miles to the closest gas station, and then back to my car. And he made sure the can of gas took care of my plight. I’ve never forgotten his kindness (over 35 years ago), and reports like this one just enrage me, as doubtless that some stranded soul win’t get helped because of the likes of these two evil people.

Was the couple too stupid to replace the tire themselves? Why didn't they have a spare? Flat tires happen. When people are stupid, they make up for it by being ungrateful, violent, and vicious. That's what happened here. Wonder if the same thing would have happened if the good Samaritan had been black. Its quite possible. I wouldn't have stopped for them. Its unsafe.
