BLM and/or Antifa goons targeted an upscale restaurant in Louisville restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky this evening. The patrons were having none of it as they faced the mob and taunted them like, ‘Come on, Let’s go!” (Photos) The man in the blue shirt looks like he just pulled a pistol out of his pocket! At least one of the BLM-Antifa protesters was armed, too! (Photo) Some tweets are coming out of Kentucky tonight indicating BLM and Antifa are in full force again. It’s spring so the rioters are gonna riot. Noticeably none were wearing Trump hats. What was amazing was the patrons of the restaurant

Glad no one was hurt people have the right to eat in peace everyone has the right to petition the Govt for their grievances. No One has the right to riot and disturb other person's peace. The cops should have diverted BLM before they arrived but god knows we cant appear to be racist

The longer they get away with this crap (and, no, they are not a figment of our imagination) the more crap they will pull.

They are hate groups, and should be treated as such. They don't want equality. They want tyranny.

My question remains: who is funding these BLaMtifa groups?..Why doesn't the FBI work on this instead of harassing people like Rudy Giuliani

The man in the blue shirt is pointing a North American Arms 22 revolver.
While it is a cute little pistol, and easily concealed, I believe it is inadequate.
I recommend a Ruger 380 lcp, with hollow point ammo, as a minimum caliber hand gun..
That gives you some fire power.
(I own a Ruger lcp, and would like to purchase a North American Arms 22, to carry while hunting.)

They tried this stuff in Oklahoma City. News reported a 'crowd' of protestors invaded the capitol. All I ever saw was about 20 people and they left after a couple of days. I did see big deputies with guns on their hips all over the place. These protesters need to stay away from states with open carry gun laws. We don't put up with it.

I keep noticing the antifa members, in particular, who are geared in body vests and have tactical gear.
Sometimes they wear helmets too.
Why, if they only intend to peacefully protest?

BLM/antifa will escalate these demonstrations until the shooting starts. They will blame others of course but before the end of summer someone will die.

Good to see some pushback. But in Louisville....we'll have to see if this man will be charged with brandishing or assault, or something along those lines. Prosecutors can be pretty nasty, as in the folks that defended their home by brandishing guns in a St. Lous suburb. They have been charged with felonies.
Well, that's SORTA "a pistol". A NAA mini revolver is certainly easy to slip into a pocket and better than nothing, but the most powerful version is .22 magnum, and five pretty slow shots (have to c*ck the hammer each time, difficult because it is so small) .....no doubt better than harsh language, and definitely could be fatal if well placed.
(and the site autosensor is so lame as to not permit one to c*ck a gun.....grrrrr)
The armed "protester" has on what is almost certainly a bullet resistant vest, externally worn, and what appears to be a 9mm semiauto....in an easy to snatch open carry holster. In a crowd like that....beyond stupid, anyone could take it away in a heartbeat.
But, perhaps these folks will think twice about trying this assault again.

The little 22 mag has a lot more power that the standard 22LR. Nice to have in your pocket as a last line of defense.

The BLM agitator appears to be wearing body armor and open carrying some kind of semiautomatic pistol while making a deliberate public nuisance of himself trespassing in a nice restaurant, trying to stir up some trouble. What's he trying to provoke? Isn't that kind of behavior aggravated assault? If it isn't, it's bound to provoke an aggravated assault when the potential victim pulls his gun. Any BLM-Antifa idiot dressed that way while open carrying a pistol apparently wants a gunfight, which if he's wearing a 3A or (better) a 3A hybrid vest, he figures to win, even if he gets shot in the vest. The NAA mini-revolver is better than nothing but not by much. A Glock 43X 9mm is my regular pal beneath the belt. Shield Arms S15 magazines, of course.
A friend of mine, a neighbor between 2018 and 2020, is a Florida State Trooper. His knowledge of firearms is considerable, and he carries a Ruger LCP II (.380 ACP) in an ankle holster as a last ditch backup gun. (Lots of cops do. Quite a few civilians as well.)
Prolific firearms author and deadly force instructor Mas Ayoob has said he doesn't know whether a .380 is barely adequate or barely inadequate. He's right either way. (9mm is about twice as powerful as .380, and is more effective at stopping an attacker. The only problem with hollow points in a .380 is that if they expand into a beautiful six-lobed star like, say, a Federal Premium HST--which is so effective in 9mm--they won't penetrate far enough (about 8" in ballistic gel). Ball ammo in .380 will sail right through a target if it doesn't encounter bone. So ball ammo is too dangerous to use for self defense.
Then what does one do? My friend uses solid copper Lehigh Xtreme Defender bullets loaded by Underwood. With a tip like a Phillips screwdriver and flutes for fluid displacement, these bullets frequently outperform hollow points, and penetrate effectively to the FBI requirement of 12" to 18" in ballistic gel. Even in .380.
One other thing about the Lehigh copper bullets and body armor. They can defeat 3A armor worn by increasing numbers of criminals today, especially if one loads an extremely light for caliber 65 or 68 grain bullet in a 9mm cartridge casing, and puts a +P or +P+ powder charge behind it. The result is close to or above 2000 fps. That might ruin an Antifa terrorist's day.

#8 is correct that .22 is inadequate in that situation, a .22 is fine if your putting one in the back of the head at short range, mafia execution style. Ruger .380 is a great weapon, also the Ruger .38 LCR is a 5 shot revolver that can be carried in a pant pocket, if you by the .38 +P bullets you can stop anything short of a bear.

That area of town is where all the very hip rich people live. You couldn't pay me to eat in a restaurant there, especially on Derby Day. The street is always lined with cool, hip rich kids bellyaching about something chic.

ALL of this will stop when the first BLM or Antifa punk gets blown away while fake intimidating some normal but armed citizens quietly enjoying dinner while concealed carrying. I am convinced it's going to happen this summer. And honestly, I'm looking forward to it because it's way past time. It's too bad for them that their theater has become our reality. And it's time for that curtain to come down.

Here's a test of Underwood ammo launching the Lehigh 90 gr and 65 gr.
9mm, of course, fired from a subcompact Glock 26, a compact Glock 19 with, essentially, a Glock 17 (duty length) barrel, and an MP-5 with a longer barrel.
And for comparison here's
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ7ri9wa728
the 115 gr Speer Gold Dot, loaded to well over 1400 (+P+) fps by Underwood. Incredible muzzle energy, but the Gold Dot expands so violently (from.355 to .889) it doesn't get past 9" penetration. Less velocity would probably do better here, but the choice is up to the defender.
If your gun is not rated for +P or +P+, stay with normal pressure ammo. Please. The manufacturer's web site or owner's manual will tell you what's safe.

For all those disparaging comments about .22LR & .22WMR - please look up the number of people killed with that "inadequate" round and let me know - yes, it's not a man stopper unless you are lucky and a good shot but consider this, The Night Stalker started with a .22LR and achieved 100% kills, when he moved up to a .380 several of his victims survived...
