Tucker Carlson is saving journalism

I should not have to write this, but journalists should accept criticism. Largely they don't. And lately they are upset because Tucker Carlson is taking them to task on his nightly Fox show. Speaking from personal experience, your critics do you a valuable service. His criticism is golden because Carlson grew up in journalism. He told Outkick, "When I was a kid, my dad worked in print in the newspaper and then in television. He had a sound guy, a cameraman, a producer. They’d come over to our house a lot. And I remember thinking, “These are truly open-minded, courageous guys.” They took no bullshit from anybody. They were also skeptical.

What I admire of Mr Carlson is that (one of the VERY few times I saw him ) said that he wasn't a particularly political animal. I believe this was during or near the siege on his home. He asks questions and from what I have read he really does ask both sides. As a journalist you don't have to play gotcha, or when did you stop beating your spouse stuff. You can ask for a factual answer to why something is that way. I admire that. I have noticed that if and when a "republican" pulls a bonehead move, Mr Carlson is on it, IF there is interest. Mr. Surber, you can easily get your password back, and I encourage you to do so. The Anonymous input in small chunks may improve on or even spark an idea that changes the world. We know not where our muses are found.

Where was Tucker Carlson when the election was being stolen by the communist death democrats? When our country's very existence was at stake, where was Tucker Carlson? Collecting his paycheck and meekly following orders from his Progressive Overlords at Fox. Lou Dobbs stood up and fought for us and it cost him his job but he is a True Patriot. I read every one of Don Surber's columns but he is wrong about Tucker Carlson this time. When our country really needed Carlosn to stand up and fight, he and his buddy Hannity suddenly turned mute. Sorry, will not watch Tucker Carlson anymore or anyone else on Fox. He fooled us once and he is doing the same hollow act as some sort of fearless truth crusader but when his butt is on the line he runs away like Sir Robin in the Holy Grail. I wonder what Lou Dobbs is up to these days?

Tucker asks questions that I don't hear anyone else asking. I agree with his politics. Those who've abandoned Fox News since election night and those who think Tucker's a traitor to conservatism would like to face the political threats of the New Left with just those conservatives, like themselves, who are pure and unflinching - - - all thirteen of them. "It's us against the world" may feel good, but that philosophy can never win.

#4, Carlson DID make several attempts to get truth about the election fraud out there. He just didn't push as hard as others who were canceled. He wasn't silent on the matter though. He was one of the few who helped exposed the Chinese involvement in the election theft.

The problem with today's "journalists"? FTA - "But a vow of poverty places one above the human fray. Their attitude is that mere mortals cannot criticize them because they have a calling and believe they serve a higher purpose." A form of victimization. Carlson is holding no punches anymore and makes the same assertion. Keep it up, Tucker. I had no idea Surber is a regular reader and former commenter at L.Com. Yes, he can recover his password and re-join. Suffice to say a good many other conservative talk show hosts and journalists are L.dotters as well. He absolutely spoke out about the stolen election and continues to push this issue, along with many other issues nobody else seems to be mentioning. Say what you want about Tucker, he is one of the good guys. Ignore him, and there will be nobody in the media left who dares to tell the stories the Left doesn't want out there.

If Tucker should decide to leave Fox News, they will crumble. Could this be the reason for Fox Nation? Tucker is the main attraction there as well. Why? First of all, because he's an original not a cookie cutter like the other talking heads. People want excellence and Tucker provides it with own brand of charm and high degree of expertise. He writes all his material and is not afraid to speak the truth. Tucker is fair and most of all, NOT balanced. I like how he let's his guests speak without interruption and is respectful of their point of view. If they need to be rebutted, he does it fearlessly usually in a respectful way. Fox News is evolving and will continue to do so. If they decided to sell, they better do it now while Tucker is there and on top.

The most touching part of the article was: “For 15-20 years I have been an L-Dotter at Lucianne.com. I lost my password 3 laptops ago so I no longer comment there, but people post my stuff and I read the comments.” Lucianne has been a light in the darkness since Clinton. As for Tucker, he is an accomplice in the big steal by omission. I have cut off Fox cold turkey because of the coup d’État they participated in, and will not slip back. Bannon (Live America News has his videos), OAN (via KloudTV $50 per year), many choices. I always read Don Surber´s website for his Highlights of the News.

Propelled by growing voter frustration over California’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Republican-led drive to remove Gov. Gavin Newsom from office collected enough voter signatures to qualify for the ballot, state officials reported Monday, triggering for only the second time in state history a rapid-fire campaign to decide whether to oust a sitting governor. Recall backers submitted more than 1,495,709 verified voter signatures — equal to 12% of all ballots cast in the last gubernatorial election — meeting the minimum threshold to force a special recall election, according to a tally released by Secretary of State Shirley Weber. Barring intervention by the courts, Newsom will face a statewide vote

In that regard, she’s just another leftist politician. What’s bizarre about Kamala is her inappropriate laughter about things that ought to inspire solemnity. What makes laughter inappropriate? It’s inappropriate when you’re speaking to a crowd and you’re the only one who laughs. Of course, that can also happen to a bad comedian, but there’s no indication in the clip below that Kamala was trying to tell a joke.
