Disney Super Fan: ‘Wokeness’ Is Ruining The

A Disney theme park superfan wrote a scathing op-ed in the Orlando Sentinel declaring that “wokeness” is ruining the Disney experience. Jonathan Vanboskerck takes yearly family vacations to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and takes a Disney Cruise every one to two years. The fan claims that Disney’s shifting political priorities have broken the magic of “immersion” at the famous theme park. According to Orlando Weekly, Disney Park Chairman Josh D’Amaro announced that the company would allow park employees to showcase different hairstyles and tattoos to create a more “inclusive” atmosphere. “Our new approach provides greater flexibly with respect to form of personal expression

Mr Vanboskerck has never visited during Gay Days or he would have stopped going to DW long ago. Truth be know, if not for employees getting in for free and bringing family members, their numbers would be much lower.

When our kids were young (many years ago), we took them to both Disney Land and World. It was a ton of fun at both parks. But they had incredibly strict dress codes and codes of conduct back then. You couldn't pay me to go back now to such a "woke" freak show!!! Though I assume somebody attached a belt to Walt's corpse so that all the spinning he is doing in the grave (knowing with future generations have done to his parks) is enough to generate enough power to keep the lights on at all of the parks.

I lived in Fla when they built the park, went very early on. My whole family had gone to DL in Cali when we lived out there, long ago. My wife and I were pretty newly married and enjoyed driving down to Orlando, a couple of hours away and 'doing Disney World' when it was brand new. We went back maybe 15 years ago, spent time in Epcot and DL. We though Epcot was pretty crappy, all the computer stuff was really outdated, lots of interactive stuff was broken. DL wasn't much fun, either, a few rides were pretty good, most kinda boring. When you are an aerobatic pilot and have driven on real race tracks, as both my wife and I have....these cheezy simulations were just .....cheezy. We really enjoyed our time at their 'subset' water play place, "River Country" which Disney apparently abandoned soon after. I have seen erie "abandoned amusement park" photo sets on the net and recognized a rotting and crumbling River Country where we had a really fine, fun day. After our pretty crummy and really expensive last visit we vowed to never return. And that was before I began to despise the Disney company for their ultra leftist politics. Not a chance I would ever go again.

If the profits disappear because of Disney’s wokeness, I would expect DW and DL to join the sorry list of abandoned theme parks dotted around the country.

This is nothing more than a decision by the company/CEO/Board. Once profits start to crumble, that may be the wake up call and get them back on track. OR Disney will decide to stay WOKE and go down the tubes.

Quit wasting your time and money, Jonathan. Wokeness is far more important to the powers that be than you are. Between allowing trash to work at the park, inflicting wokeness on everyone and putting homosexual characters into their cartoons, I hope that their “new approach” kills the company.

I remember after the Pulse Nightclub RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORIST massacre, which the Orlando political machine transformed into a LGBTQ persecution issue, so completely and quickly that we were lectured and scolded about our collective homophobia in OUR CHURCH the very next Sunday, a marketing/tourism expert with decades of experience wrote an Op-Ed in the Orlando Sentinel. He was run out of town on a rail because his message was that transforming Orlando into a flag waving mecca for LGBTQ rights/grievances, based on the % of LGBTQ in the populace, and who the target clientele for Disney, etc. is, was a really, really stupid move. He's probably in the witness protection system now. Truth is verboten in these parts. Never mind that the terrorist's dad was an FBI informant, among other coinkydinks, and terrorist had cased Disney, which he rejected in favor of the very soft target of the nightclub.

I'm guessing it's getting harder to recruit employees that fit the Disney image for those theme park jobs. Tattoos are on everyone under the age of thirty. Either that, or Disney is recruiting for the next theme attraction, Gettoland.

A first address to Congress or State of the Union speech is pretty much one where you completely control your environment and everyone is generally fairly polite in response. Some from the opposing side might not clap and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ripped up President Donald Trump’s speech during one of his addresses. But for the most part, you have the floor without interruption. So, in general, it’s hard not to get a positive reaction to a speech and scenario you completely control — in Biden’s case, one long delayed that ordinarily would have been in February.

Since many of the individual pieces of the Democrat party’s wet dream wish list of brutal legislation can’t pass on their own (specifically, PRO Act).
