Much has been made on the right about the decision by Major League Baseball to move the All-Star game from Atlanta to Denver, ostensibly in “solidarity” with those opposed to the changes in election law passed by the GOP-controlled legislature.
I was critical of the decision at the time, and remain critical of the explanation that was given — essentially that the State of Georgia had sought to wrongfully suppress the ability of minority voters to cast ballots. Most objective analyses of the Georgia law show that the changes put in place bring Georgia in line with many other states and that there are Democrat-controlled

It makes certain business sense. MLB fled the lose-lose Democrat political chaos of Atlanta for the safe comfort of what the Wall Street Journal labeled Saturday as the 3rd best job market in the county (Atlanta is the 21st). The political chaos overrode the negative racial optics of the move.

Red State, the Erik Erickson founded site is anti-MAGA. I stand with Trump because He was the only leader opposing the Globalist New World Order of the Freemasons. You should stand with Donaldjtrump.com too.

If all of the snotty, arrogant and overpaid "professional athletes" in the world (with the exception of professional tennis players and motorcycle racers) dropped dead tomorrow morning, I couldn't and wouldn't care care less.
Is it true that the minimum salary for NFL players is $600 K a year and the majority of them make over $1 million a year? What's their problem? The United States Of America made them rich, adored and envied. Guess where they can all go.

Still it has angered a LOT of fans and many have vowed to 1) not watch the All Stars game, and 2) long term, never watch MLB again.
Stupid, stupid, STUPID. In a game that already has lost a lot of folks because of the massive takeover by foreigners who either can't speak English or can barely stumble through it, which is pretty off putting to a lot of folks who want to watch an American sport, not some South and Central American League.
Scroom. I'm gone permanently.

Rational? Yes. Moral? No. And my rational and morally correct response serves only to punish myself by refusing to spend another dime on MLB games. And the outcome? I am PO'ed. Go to Hades, Lebron James. You are a shining example, my dark-hued brother, of talent wasted in a dark-hued heart.

How could they survive if all whites stayed away from their games and did not watch on TV. How fast do you think they would go back to Atlanta? Follow the money. Whites keep them in the money. How do you think the black and white businesses and workers feel about being used as pawns in this BLM movement! It is costing them all a lot while the BLM elite are buying million dollar houses in white neighborhoods using donations to the cause. Go figure.

Making excuses to keep on watching baseball doesn't fly with me. Spin it any way you want, MLB still sucks and if you watch baseball you are an enabler to the Left.

Don't buy that explanation. They just folded to the PC people who were offended by having to follow voting rules. Happens every time.

when a thing is dead you don't call EMS, you call the Funeral Director. all the "professional" sports are dead or on life support and I couldn't be happier.

Justification makes as much sense as Germany cooperating with Iran's Mullah's and supporting terrorism because it is good business - profitable for German big industries.

Moving the all-star game to the People's Republic of Denver shows me that the local deep state has some definite pull. What makes no sense is that Denver's black population is less than 10 percent compared to Atlanta's 70 percent. So if MLB is intending to schmooze the blacks by moving the game to a mostly white city, they picked the wrong one.

Feeding the alligator... in the hopes of saving yourself.
You just get eaten last.
Further... anyone see what's happening to Disney ticket sales? NFL attendance? 'Woke' movie sales? Dumb. Having a backbone would have made things better than they will be.

It's not a defense, it's a cop out. Those players who want to get paid, play. The rest can take a hike. Those that leave won't have to worry about getting another job, they've made enough money to last the rest of their lives.

If I were in charge, I'd have kept the game in Atlanta. Then, if any player who was voted into the All Star Game who refused to attend, I'd ask him to explain why regular season games in Atlanta are okay but not this special game for the fans.

MLB is not the NBA. Only eight percent of its rosters are native American blacks. "The Community" doesn't do baseball...the game is basketball. The crowds aren't significantly black. Few, if any of that eight percent rose from poverty, more likely the sons of former players or middle class having come up through the college game rather than discovered by some scout in an inner city. There's little chance clubhouse discomfort. The other black players come from the Dominican, Cuba, and elsewhere around the Caribbean. Baseball's been berry, berry good to them. Some are from Venezuela...think BLM is tough? The Asian players...
MLB wimped out out Atlanta. It didn't want "trouble" and instead got different trouble, this time from those most likely to be actual fans.

You would think that, #14, but many of the highly-compensated pros party their money away and are broke by the time they reach their 50s. It's a fun life but a short one.
I don't see the rationale of the fans wanting the players to be the same color as they are or even be fluent in English. Hideki Matsuyama is currently leading in the Masters, doesn't speak without an interpreter and has great respect from me for what he has accomplished in his career. I don't care what color he is or what his politics are. He is wise enough to keep that to himself.
Unlike American pro sports figures, the people Rome did not care what color their gladiators were as long as they killed with skill but mainly did not insult or hate the people who came to see them. Our pro teams are not smart enough to see that they are committing suicide, every last kneeling SOB out there.

The writer makes a very good point, the only rational response from someone who opposes the type of blackmail which MLB gave in to is to boycott the MLB.
I was just starting to consider returning to baseball after my reaction to what they did regarding BLM last year when they did this.
I'm out.
