As many as 246 Michigan residents considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 were later diagnosed with the virus, and three have died, state officials confirmed Monday. The cases were reported between Jan. 1 and March 31, and the 246 had a positive test 14 or more days after the last dose in the vaccine series, said Lynn Sutfin, a spokeswoman for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, in an email. "Some of these individuals may ultimately be excluded from this list due to continuing to test positive from a recent infection prior to being fully vaccinated," she said. "These cases are undergoing further review

About 1.8 million have been fully vaccinated in the state. If only 246 people got the virus, by my math, that translates to an effectiveness of 99.9863%. Right? Not bad.

Exactly #4. By my calculation a vaccine that was touted as 90% effective (10% ineffective) actually had a failure rate of 0.0123%. And those were reinfections, not deaths of which there were 3.

A doctor on Laura Ingram's show the other night stated that getting the vaccine having recently had Covid can be dangerous for some people. I know my nephew and his girlfriend both in their mid twenties and both having had Covid recently (within the last three months), were very ill for a few days after receiving the vaccine. They felt worse after getting the vaccine then when they had Covid. So this may be the cause for some of the deaths. Especially for older persons who may have secondary health issues.

Regardless of anyone's views on the vaccine, there is no way to read any article on the subject without factoring in the click-bait factor and the politics of the source. Are 246 Covid infections after being vaccinated statistically significant, based on a totally vaccinated number this morning of 1,821,794? (Johns Hopkins) That's a case rate of .0135%. Is that good or bad? Article doesn't say.

Since President Plagiarist has falsely claimed all credit for the vaccines, what will the “news” media do if the 2 leading vaccines eventually prove ineffective against the Chinese produced virus? Other than blaming Trump? Will CNN, MSNBC, AP and The NY Times report on the failure if the news undermines Biden and his leftist freak show?

This should not be a surprise. By their own admission, the pharmaceuticals claim their vaccines are only 90-95% effective. For example, say 100k people have been vaccinated. If the fail rate is just 5%, that would mean for 5000 of those vaccinated, they are still susceptible to COVID. What percentage of the population has come down with COVID? 10% or 20%? From that perspective 500 to 1000 people would come down with COVID from that group of 100K people. If anything, the numbers reported might be low, and they should do more checking. If you are an elderly person or a person with a compromised immune system, you would have to continue the precautions they have taken all along. its still too easy to get COVID. If you are serious about avoiding COVID, you would still take the same precautions. NOTHING HAS CHANGED regardless of the vaccines. Seriously, when was the last time we heard something had a 90-95% success rate was considered an overall success? And we still haven't found out if there are any long term effects that will take a long time to manifest themselves.

The mutant South African Covid-19 variant can 'break through' the Pfizer jab, a study has found. Scientists studied 400 people who had tested positive for coronavirus at least 14 days after receiving one or two doses of the jab—and 400 who tested positive with no vaccine. The variant was eight times more prevalent in those who had two jabs than none. It was seen in 5.4 per cent of people with two doses—but 0.7 per cent of people without any. This suggests the vaccine is less effective against the South African variant, compared with the original coronavirus and a variant first identified

Joe Biden may have been something like a moderate, once. As a senator, he defended the Hyde Amendment, which protects pro-life taxpayers from footing the bill for something they consider to be murder. Senator Biden also voted for the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) in 1993. Even as late as 2003, Biden voted for a bill to prohibit partial-birth and late-term abortion. Biden did indeed work with Republicans to pass legislation. In 1987, Biden condemned Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s scheme to pack the Supreme Court to support the New Deal. He has to be able to define “extremism” in such a way as to safeguard our constitutional liberties while rooting out the skinheads, the Klan members, the gangbangers, and violent revolutionaries that make up a small but significant fraction of the armed forces.
