CDC, states say coronavirus
infections hitting younger groups

U.S. and state health officials said Monday they’re seeing more coronavirus cases in younger persons than they did earlier in the pandemic, as seniors achieve protection from vaccination and youth sports are blamed for outbreaks. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said even as the vaccine reaches more people, the seven-day average of cases has risen for four straight weeks and remains above 60,000 per day. Officials are particularly concerned about the prevalence of the fast-moving B.1.1.7, or “U.K.,” variant in the states. “Cases are increasing nationally and we are seeing this occur predominately in younger adults,” CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said.

Comments:

Trust the science. Inject your children with experimental gene therapy to protect them from the common cold; any risks of infertility, cancer, or autoimmune problems later on are on you as the manufacturers are absolved of all liability. Sure, you can choose to not participate, but then your kids will be barred from attending school and you'll risk penalties for not sending kids to school, not unlike penalties for not having Obamacare. That's freedom, New American style.

But if a younger person does get this virus, they have over a 99.9% chance of recovering from it. Very very few people in that age group even have to go into the hospital. You know, sort of what happens when you get the flu or any other virus. Duh!!!

Convenient, is it not? Calls to mind "who is watching the watchers?" Hospitals, clinics, testing facilities can all accurately report their results but who tabulates them? Who audits the "counters" (CDC, NIH)and ensures the results are not adjusted to suit a desired outcome? I have seen too much dishonesty in governments and media the past few years to believe any report. BTW anyone see the past VP of R&D at Phizer recommended not taking any vaccine unless you are in a high risk group? And, now, the CDC wants the children to be at high risk?

Fauci Virus 19 was targeted towards the elderly, with co-morbidities, because that was more plausible. Now he seems to be releasing the second stage, Fauci Virus 21, that will attack younger people and children. All in the service of depopulation monsters like Gates. Plus, the CCP wants us devastated. And this gains more millions for FauXi.

#2 is right. The CDC lies, probably by being intimidated by Biden's administration. If Covid has little or no effect on healthy younger people, and the elderly and everybody who wants it are getting the vaccine, who cares if the numbers go up?

At least seven US colleges have said students must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to come back to their campuses this fall with Brown University and Northeastern University the latest to implement such rules. Brown, Northeastern, Cornell University, Rutgers University, Fort Lewis College, Nova Southeastern University and St. Edward's University each announced COVID-19 vaccination requirements for returning students in recent weeks. Students with specific underlying medical conditions and religious beliefs can apply to be exempt from the rule which the institutions say is crucial to be able to welcome people back to in-person learning at full pre-pandemic capacity.

The White House clarified Tuesday that one study projects that President Biden’s $2.25 trillion infrastructure package will create roughly 2.7 million jobs—not the 19 million jobs administration officials had touted over the weekend. White House press secretary Jen Psaki cited a study from Moody’s that projects the U.S. economy will add 19 million jobs over the next decade if Congress passes Mr. Biden’s plan and about 16.3 million jobs if Congress doesn’t pass it. “So that is what the impact would be of the American Jobs Plan—2.7 million, to be totally clear,” Ms. Psaki said. “It is important to be clear and to be specific

A homeless man giving directions inside a Manhattan subway station was punched out, stomped and robbed by a rival trying to sell illegal MetroCard swipes, police said Tuesday. Police identified the suspect as Ronald Bailey, 52, a repeat transit offender with more than 30 prior arrests. Bailey got angry because he was trying to sell swipes—discounted entries into the subway system using a doctored MetroCard—and felt the victim, also 52, was getting in the way, according to cops. Bailey allegedly floored his rival with a left hook on the mezzanine level of the subway station at Seventh Ave. and W. 34th St.
