An ‘anti-racist’ group calling itself ‘White Lies Matter’ stole a $500,000 stone chair dedicated to Confederate leader Jefferson Davis and claims it will use the monument as a 'toilet' unless a Confederate women's group hangs a banner outside its headquarters bearing the words of a black militant who killed a state trooper. The Jefferson Davis Memorial Chair was first noticed missing on March 19 after it was taken from the Old Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, Alabama.(Snip) The women's group has said memorial statues and monuments are 'shared American history' and should remain in place. It hasn't issued a response

Comments:

A so-called anti-racist group that openly despises WHITE people, and desecrates a graveyard for a vile and juvenile stunt? Probably the Southern Poverty Law Center is behind this, or maybe the FBI.

Cast another chair in bronze and make it way too heavy to lift and then secure it to the ground so it cannot be moved. Plan to repaint it or sand blast it every time it is defaced by these racist scum bags. It may be I am now racist too, after all these attacks on whiteness. I was raised as a Northerner, but my distant cousin was the first wife of Jefferson Davis.

The last I checked, stealing something work $500,000 is a massive felony. If this racist group has admitted to stealing it, arrest every member and lock them up for felony theft. Maybe a few days in jail will make them realize that returning the chair (unsoiled) may be a more "prudent" move at this point!!!

I don't give a damn for Jefferson Davis! He'd get along fine with the current Democrats - in fact, if they made a true to life Civil War movie, I would cast Joe 'Hiddin' Biden as Davis. Two peas in a pod. Let them make it into a toilet - then get their DNA arrest them and jail them. Not due to Jefferson Davis, mind you, simply for being jerks.

Nearly 19,000 unaccompanied children were nabbed jumping the border in March, Homeland Security revealed Thursday, doubling the number from February and shattering the previous record of about 11,500, set in May 2019. The children were only a fraction of the total of 172,331 illegal immigrant encounters recorded last month by Homeland Security, with about 168,000 of those nabbed by the Border Patrol. That’s the highest monthly number in 20 years. Of those, about 103,000 people were expelled under coronavirus pandemic emergency orders, but the unaccompanied children and tens of thousands more parents and children traveling as families were not able to be expelled under current policies.
