New video of George Floyd inside a Minneapolis convenience store moments before his death was played in court today at Derek Chauvin's murder trial as a witness said that his hands were shaking, he was unable to make conversation and he appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Cup Foods clerk Christopher Martin, who was working on May 25, 2020, took the stand on Wednesday to testify about how staff called the cops on Floyd because they believed he used a counterfeit $20 bill.(Snip) He could be seen rifling through his pants pockets, counting and recounting bills, taking them out and replacing them.

Comments:

Being that high, then taking even more drugs to avoid being arrested, sometimes proves fatal. Where was this video when our cities were burning?

Sorry, OP, but it wouldn't have mattered at all. Rioting and destroying are the "profession" of these subhuman racist thugs in Antifa and BLM!!!! Nothing short of the full brunt of the US military could have stopped them!!! Just like with this trial. The outcome (guilty or innocent) won't matter. There will be violent riots, with lots of destruction, in the streets of every major Demon-Rat run city. This is not about justice. It's just an excuse to do what they do best!!!

The Demorat AG (and DNC leader) of Minnesota knew about the autopsy and Floyd's level of drugs in him that was killing him (especially fentanyl) but he withheld this information and knew the video would cause death and destruction all over the country without any concern of the lives lost or billions of dollars lost due to fires and vandalism. The DNC is in league with the devil who comes to kill, steal and destroy and that's what happened last summer.

Floyd killed Floyd. The police officers did nothing to harm him, prevented him from continuing to bash his head on the ground. And they called for an ambulance, trying to save his life.

FTA: Martin told the court that he became suspicious of the bill because it had an unusual 'blue pigment so I assumed it was fake'. 'The policy was if you took a counterfeit bill you had to pay for it out of your pay-check,' Martin explained. 'I took it anyways and was planning to just put it on my tab - until I second guessed myself and eventually told my manager.' This young man was put it a terrible spot. He probably took the fake bill because He Was Afraid of George Floyd. Why else would he absorb a hit on his own paycheck and the wrath of the store owner? Then George Floyd refused to rectify the situation so the cops were called. Martin feels terrible guilt while the Floyd family is basking in a $27 million payoff.

No, Mr. Martin, George Floyd would NOT be alive today if you had acted differently. He was at the beginning of death from overdose. He had minutes to live in any case, and your actions did not cause that.

All we need to know is whether the officer followed procedure and put the detained person into a "hold" position that matches the police training he was given by the 50-year plus Democrat controlled city and its police department. That's all that matters. I remember that many police departments reduced permission to use certain chokeholds in the last decade or two.

Just found this tasty-tidbit: https://lawandcrime.com/live-trials/live-trials...The medical examiner’s report lists Floyd’s death as having occurred May 25 at 9:25 p.m.; the autopsy was conducted exactly twelve hours later at 9:25 a.m. on May 26. As was released earlier by the medical examiner’s office, Floyd’s cause of death is listed officially as “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restrain, and neck compression.” IF as this statement specifies that George Floyd DIED at EXACTLY 9:25 PM, how could Officer Chauvin been "killing" the decedent HOURS LATER, at 9:25 pm when it is quite DARK OUTSIDE?!! So, folks, George Floyd DIED, but NOT while UNDER THE KNEE of the police officer Chauvin, who is presently on trial. It is currently believed that Floyd died at the ER Hospital while medical staff applied life-saving measures, but to no avail. He was too far gone. Facts in evidence.

One of the videos shows Floyd at the counter as he purchases the cigarettes. It is only a few seconds long but notice the repetitive motion of his left arm. It almost looks like he is lecturing the clerk or perhaps drugs are causing odd movements. Or it may mean nothing. Your mileage may vary. And we have the clerk's testimony. Good to see such a surveilance clear video.

#9, the Minneapolis police training manual has a photograph of an officer doing exactly that position in the training photo, setting that as the ideal way to protect an excited delerium case from harm until the medical folks can get there. And the position was used in Minneapolis police training because they had worked with the Minneapolis University Medical Dept to develop a safe way to restrain drug overdose/excited delerium cases with a careful look at ensuring that the position could cause no harm, and was specifically designed to ensure good airway for the restrained person. Unless this information is excluded somehow from the trial, it will be abundantly clear that REGARDLESS of what the uniformed fools think, medical experts selected and tested that position BECAUSE IT WAS SAFE. Chauvin did as he was trained. Chauvin did exactly as medical experts recommended. Chauvin did no harm to Mr. Floyd. Floyd killed Floyd with a massive drug overdose. And nothing could change that trajectory once Mr. Floyd set it into motion, with the POSSIBLE exception of that opiate cancelling emergency drug, Naloxone, which sometimes can reverse an opiate overdose if given by medical folks early enough.

The original autopsy report did NOT attribute Floyd's death to actions of the police. It was only after the fact and untold amounts of political pressure, that he went back and added that what the police did may have been a factor.

I felt sorry for Mr. Martin. I’ve been watching the trial. He even deleted a video of what he had seen. It was obvious he didn’t want to be there. I’m watching the police video cams now. Floyd keeps yelling and saying he can’t believe, but he wouldn’t be talking if he couldn’t breathe.

George Floyd lsuffered from at least two potentially lethal circulatory system diseases which were partly the result of servicing the 6’4-6” 230 lb. body of a man whose lifestyle was extremely unhealthy. The size of an adult male human heart is fairly constant despite the size of the person it services and in a large frame like Floyd’s it can become overworked, enlarged, misshapen and ineffective resulting in death. Engaging in criminal activity after ingesting or injecting fentanyl does not suggest that Floyd was on a trajectory to a long life or peaceful death despite the fact that he was a mostly harmless man who did some good in his life. He was the victim of his own poor choices and his anatomy and may he Rest In Peace. However, it would be well to stop protecting the individuals, gangs and drug cartels responsible for distributing the fentanyl that he took and executing them rather than pretending that the police are the real enemy of everyday citizens. After all, Christopher Martin, a black man himself, wasn’t too afraid of the police to call them for assistance.

This convicted FELON, who also made porn-films, once held a loaded gun to the abdomen of a pregnant woman, one that he was involved with. Please learn the facts, then give us an informed view!!

"Every day you get up and make choices. Some good, some bad, some downright stupid. Own it" This man chose to pass a counterfeit bill. He chose to abuse drugs. He chose to disobey orders from law enforcement who were called. If he did not die that day, it would have been another day. Sad his family didn't care enough to get treatment for him, but once a white LEO killed him, he became a cash cow and they were all in at $27 million.
