Joe Biden's Mind Melts and the White House

Earlier today, Joe Biden gave one of the more embarrassing press conferences you’ll see from a president. As RedState chronicled here, here, and here, all the overpreparation in the world didn’t seem to matter. Despite holding mock briefings, something unheard of for a routine presidential presser, and having a binder full of answers to questions, Biden’s mind still managed to meltdown several times throughout the event. Here’s one of the more egregious examples. Watch all the way until the end because the mumbling performance at the beginning isn’t his only flub in the span of 30 seconds. Biden later starts shuffling through papers attempting to read

By all rights I should be concerned about Joe comprehensively pooping the bed but knowing he's such a nice guy makes my worries melt away. Kumbaya.

Biden isn't going to make it to 2024. He might end up in a nursing home by summer and he'd better hope that it isn't run by Andrew Cuomo.

If I were a betting man, I'd say that he is forced to stay in the position for 2 years. That way Harris gets to finish Biden's term and then she still gets to go for two terms of her own,

Besides the rambling, mumbling, jumbling performance coupled with complete brain freezes look at his eyes. The pupils of his eyes are fully dilated and his eyes appear black they are so open. They drugged him to endure an hour on the podium. He won't last and he will soon to be on his last legs. This is not funny this is a national security issue.

New York Attorney General Letitia James’s office has sent subpoenas to dozens of officials in Governor Andrew Cuomo’s administration in connection with an investigation into sexual-harassment claims against the governor, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday. Melissa DeRosa, the governor’s top aide, is among the officials who received a subpoena, the paper said. Paul Fishman, a lawyer for the Cuomo administration, said in response to the paper that “no one should be surprised that the AG’s office is issuing requests for documents and interviewing witnesses,

There’s no doubt that if you spend much time on the internet, you’re going to be buried in an avalanche of false claims, exaggerations, conspiracy theories with no basis in fact, and outright, bald-faced lies from politicians of the right, left, and center. The “Information Age” has become a nightmare from which we are unable to awaken. As it turns out, there is, indeed, such a thing as too much information. We are all forced to selectively filter what information we process, resulting in our natural biases playing a large role in what information we actually absorb. Take the border crisis. Whom do you believe? Whose opinion do you trust?

This has not exactly been a secret, if you have been paying attention for the last 8 months. But Joe Biden’s performance in the press conference on Thursday — which took place ONLY because Democrat party-supporting media organizations had begun to question why he had not yet appeared in a press conference setting since the inaugural — confirmed the unspoken truth: that Joe Biden is only a prop, not the leader of the free world. My RedState colleague Nick Arama did this story yesterday on photographs which captured the “cheat sheets” Biden had to use at the podium to assist him in picking the reporters he should call on
Biden Goes Berserk on Georgia Election Law 4 replies

President Joe Biden railed against Georgia’s new voter integrity law on Friday, slamming the law as “un-American,” “a blatant attack on the Constitution and good conscience,” and “Jim Crow in the 21st Century.” Biden repeated false claims about Georgia’s elections system and mischaracterized key parts of the bill. Biden celebrated the record number of voters in the 2020 election and claimed that “recount after recount and court case after court case upheld the integrity and outcome of a clearly free, fair, and secure democratic process.” He did not mention the last-minute election rules changes due to COVID-19 or the Time expose about a “conspiracy” to “save” the election for Biden.

Major corporations quickly came out with announcements of pausing donations to Republican lawmakers who voted against certifying Joe Biden’s election victory in January. Specifically, the closing of the corporate coffers was a reaction to the Capitol Hill riot on January 6. Now there is a House race in Iowa which Democrats are trying to steal from the Republican who has been certified by state officials as the winner. Senate Republicans, including Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, now demand that turnabout is fair play. If the corporations making a statement against overturning the results of an election are sincere, it should not be a problem

Jazz wrote about this mystery on Tuesday and now print media is sniffing around it. On March 2, Greg Abbott announced that he would lift the state’s mask mandate and reopen most businesses at 100 percent capacity on March 10. That seemed rash at the time given the spread of more contagious variants across the U.S. plus the fact that Texas’s daily cases on March 2 (6,660) weren’t dramatically lower than they were on July 2 of last year (7,381), the day Abbott implemented the new mandate. Public health experts like Fauci and Rochelle Walensky warned him that he was risking a new spike.

I know I will upset many readers with this column, but I speak from experience. Women should not be combat soldiers on purpose and should not have combat commands, either. This has suddenly become a pressing matter because Biden just nominated women to those positions. I used the phrase "on purpose" because we can't always predict where fighting will occur. Women in the military must, therefore, be trained and equipped to fight as effectively as possible. However, we must not throw them into harm's way as a matter of course. Yes, I sound sexist and chauvinistic, and some will say I hate women.

We’ve been reporting what a disaster that the Joe Biden press conference was earlier today. It seemed clear that he had a preselected list of folks he was going to call on, not calling on any conservative outlets or media like Fox’s Peter Doocy who clearly would be asking tough questions. It also appeared that he was basically reading the answers to questions at various points, leading one to ask if he knew the questions in advance. Even if he didn’t, he was just basically reading off notes of prewritten answers at many points. He only ultimately only took questions from ten reporters, hardly a freewheeling press conference.

While I did not agree with the president on every policy issue, I did leave my service with a feeling that, agree with him or not, Bush is a good person who cares a lot about our country.
