Last week, former President George W. Bush said he's not worried about the current moment in American politics because "these populist movements begin to fritter over time." I don't know Bush well personally, but I served in his administration for eight years. As a senior staffer to Vice President Dick Cheney, I was in numerous meetings with Bush each week. While I did not agree with the president on every policy issue, I did leave my service with a feeling that, agree with him or not, Bush is a good person who cares a lot about our country.
Bush said he voted for Hillary and Biden. He's a traitor. Period.

Bush is frittering away any last semblance of being a Republican. But he's probably right, populism won't exactly fritter itself away, it's just that communism (i.e. the democrats) will do away with it bit by bit. Populists will be banned from more and more platforms, more and more media outlets and more and more any other places where they can air their grievances and celebrate what was America.

To Dim Bulb Traitor Bush and this writer - Listen up. It is not your coined phrase Populism. You are all dealing with something you cannot ever fee - Patriotism and Love for our Freedoms and fellow Citizens. Mark this carefully - We the People will take back our Republic, our freedoms, our lives from the communist death democrats, the media swine, like Yuckerberg, Dorsey, Gates, et al, and especially from evil billionaires like Soros, Buffet. Fritter away? Quite the opposite, our righteous cause will grow and grow into a mighty force to stamp out this evil that has engulfed our country. We have not yet begun to Fight!
Free America, Forever!

Dubya's track record on predictions and reading people is not good. Nation-building in Afghanistan and Iraq were terrible mistakes, and looking into Putin's eyes and getting a sense of his soul is perhaps the stupidest remark I've ever heard.

Using the comparison the author uses to the 1770s actually has a little more use than he makes of it. The leaders of the British government believed that the populism in the colonies would "fritter away".

Ok George and Islam is the religion of peace too right. You’re an idiot. Agree with #5. That was the stupidest thing I ever heard. You were elected because Al Gore and John Kerry were bigger morons.

Populism is a derogatory term used by our enemies to describe those of us that believe the government should be ran by our representatives, and with our consent, and that we can speak our opinions about it. People like GW, the Democrats, all demagogues, and fools, don't like it when the citizens want to run their own lives.

Without a dedicated populist leader for the long haul, Bush will be correct.

Sorry, I don't consider Trump as a "populist." Whatever precisely that is; the Filthocrats want populist to be a bad word, like, I guess, a mob rule in the voting booth. A thing can be popular and bad for you, like smoking once was, or popular and good for you, like secure borders, low taxes, cheap energy, and security are.
Trump is rationalist: He promotes policies that help the population, not policies that reward politicians and their lobbyists.
Unfortunately, the media is capable of making the Gullible Class believe anything, even that the southern border and various cities being on fire is good for them and shows a moral superiority. that it is better to have chaos and lawlessness (eg, defund the police and sanctuary cities) instead of Trump's tweets.

A lot of us were played for saps, #12. I was. I admit it. Maybe you were not, but it's not like we had a choice back then.
Never again, though.

George frittered away 2 terms without undoing the evils of the Clinton slimes, and ushered in the man who is recreating America in his own evil image, Obama.

Bottom line, George, communism is going to fritter away America. And you’re doing your part to enable it.

Of course now the same media that torn this moron apart are framing him as some kind of wise sage. There are no worse enemies of every freedom and blessing we enjoy as USA citizens, than most media. Every leftist owner, editor, reporter and staff is more deadly, more evil, than any barbarian muslim, lunatic communist, or filthy drug cartel slob.
