A local Minnesota theater has cancelled a production of Roger & Hammerstein's Cinderella because its cast was 'too white'. Chanhassen Dinner Theatres was scheduled to stage the show later this year before its artistic director stepped in to slam its lack of diversity. 'It was 98 percent white, ' the artistic director, Michael Brindisi, told the Pioneer Press on Wednesday after looking at who had been cast.

How is this going to work when they do The Sound of Music? I guess somehow the Captain, a Austrian, will be a black man and Maria a Guatemalan refugee. The children will be every ethic group imaginable, except white.

I’m not at all surprised by a decision based on quotas, in the far-left theatre business. It happens all the time. But, the time for an Artistic Director to make this decision is BEFORE the play is cast. That it was made this late in the game, tells me that this AD is more than your run-of-the-mill theatre moron; he’s a special breed.

#6. Sound of Music was performed by the little theatre group at an Army post in Germany around 1974. The U-boat skipper who came to see von Trapp to convince him serve with the German Navy was played by a Black actor with an awful German accent.

He added that his administration "is putting together an immigration plan we feel very confident” about. Biden was responding to plans to go to the border like former president Donald Trump this week suggested he may do. Biden also answered a reporter's question on "China partnering with Iran." With a serious tone he quipped: "We've been worrying about that for years."
