Buckingham Palace responds
to Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's
Oprah Winfrey interview

Original Article

Buckingham Palace issued a statement regarding the explosive interview between Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey on Sunday. "The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan," a statement from the Palace provided to Fox News reads. "The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately."

Comments:

A “grown up” response to the Markle’s petty tantrum. Classy and it puts them in their place. This, my friends, is how it’s done!

I didn't watch the Oprah interview. I see the headline news of articles written about these pukes and I haven't read the articles. Not a one and won't in the future. "Someone" is keeping them in the spotlight. What a disastrous pair.

She is a horrible human being who happens to be (sort of) black. Because she didn’t get her way on absolutely everything she is trying to destroy the monarchy by screaming “Racism.” Harry sure brought a snake into that

Harry and Meghan are, essentially, scum. They fit well into an Oprah interview. Prince Harry is sixth in the Line of Succession to the throne (Charles, William, William's three children are ahead), so unless he's the Duke of Gloucester (Richard III 1,547 times over), he will never sit on the royal throne. Not that I care in the least. I have only a sporting interest in the royals.

We’ll find out 3) we’ll handle it privately, unlike you who came to wild conclusions all on your own and now whined to the whole world about it. 4) Harry, you’re really a dumbo but we love you.

Queen Elizabeth is a woman of great strength, wisdom and has seen more than her share of phonies, hangers-on, and layabouts. The “family” response is perfect, cutting the would-be royal down to size. Megan's envy and jealousy knows no bounds. She wanted all of the attention and when she didn't get it, she cried racism and became the ultimate victim dragging Harry along behind her. She comes across as a vicious manipulating woman who will destroy anything and anyone who gets in her way including her father and the Queen of England. What a poor excuse for a human being. Harry should have listened to Prince William.

If the Royal Family were racist, they would not have welcomed Meghan into the family in the first place. This point about the color of the baby's skin was possibly something that was mentioned in passing in a private conversation, and within a humorous context. It's not unusual for people to discuss the prospective color of a baby's eyes or hair anyway. They say that love is blind and it wouldn't surprise me if Meghan went into this chapter of her life somewhat oblivious to the strictures, vagaries and outright pitfalls that come with being a Royal. If she thought it would all end up smelling like roses, she was reading too many fairytales.

I would say that both Harry and Meghan have a loose screw and that the Palace knows that. They were acting like eighth graders in that interview with Oprah. It was a given that the race card would be played, and that will just about always happen when there is a Black liberal US entertainment or movie personality running the show, as those people are engrained deeply in racial issues, and want to pin down just about everyone as being a racist, as that's all they have got. During the interview Meghan said that she learned from Harry that a top member of Harry's family was wondering out loud to Harry before baby Archie was born about what baby Archie's skin color might be, and according to Meghan, Harry told her about the incident and they agreed that was racist. But why would anyone wonder out loud about the baby's skin color, as all anyone had to do is wait until Archie was born and then take a peek at him? Harry and Meghan said that the racist family member was not Queen Elizabeth or Prince Phillip, and Harry has refused to identify the racist member of the Royal Family. Obviously by making a mountain out of such a molehill, Harry and Meghan are actually targeting Harry's father Prince Charles and Harry's brother Prince William and maybe their wives. Charles and William are due to be the next two Kings of England and obviously Meghan is never going to be the Queen of England. you have to wonder what Harry and Meghan thought they were gaining by playing the race card, other than to please Oprah, and then not identifying the racist Royal culprit? Almost all the other allegations that Harry and Meghan mouthed against Harry's family have already been rebutted. Meghan's real problem with Harry's family is cultural and has nothing to do with anyone being racist. Meghan should be happy that she has been able, so far, to keep what looks like a very menially fragile Harry under her foot, as without Harry and his Royal title, Meghan would be just another b-list actress who has been through the mill. The worst thing that Harry said was when he seemingly mocked the Royal duties towards the public that working members of the Royal family perform day in and day out in the UK and the Commonwealth. As a recent example, Queen Elizabeth is 94 years old and has been performing public duties designed to get the most people possible vaccinated for COVID throughout the UK. What have Harry and Meghan done in that respect? Harry and Meghan should return their Royal titles to the Queen, and just carry on their new lives as Mr. and Mrs. Wales residing among the entertainment industry and Hollywood elites in Southern California where they have it very rough, residing in a 14 million dollar mansion with illegal aliens doing all the grunt work maintaining the place..

The forgotten one that will be most hurt by this interview is Archie. The poor child will grow up thinking that the royal family did not care about him because of his potential skin color and because of that also denied him a title and security. His parents are poisoning him and eventually his sister. They will grow up without knowing any of their family in England. Meghan has also denied them any relationship with her extended family except for Doria. They are going to be very screwed up children and are the true victims in this debacle.

Three years ago, the only people who’d ever heard of Pete Buttigieg were likely to be residents of South Bend, Ind., the town of 103,000 people where he served as mayor. South Bend is home to Notre Dame University. It has a bus station with a fleet of 60 buses, a small train station and a small regional airport. So, who better for Team Biden to nominate as secretary of the Department of Transportation, which employs more than 58,000 employees – more than half the population of South Bend – and has a budget of $87 billion?
