Hate Act’ to Prevent Trump Name from
Being Displayed on Federal Projects

Democrats in the House of Representatives have introduced legislation that would prevent former President Donald Trump from having his name displayed on federal projects, buildings, statues, lands, or other type of commemoration.(Snip) The bill specifically prevents federal funds from being used to “create or display any symbol, monument, or statue commemorating any former President that has been twice impeached by the House of Representatives,” including “any highway, park, subway, Federal building, military installation, street, or other Federal property.” The bill also prevents Trump from being buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

This level of hate, along with the intentional opening up of borders to illegals, plus the demonization of the opposing political party is ANTI-AMERICA. There's a good reason for DOTUS to surround DC with troops - he's AFRAID of how the American people will react to the intentional subversion of America AND you're a RACIST if you don't go along with the BS!

I don’t know about you, but this behavior is very disturbing. To have this kind of an obsession with one man appears to be a mental disorder to me. Clearly, the majority of those in power are suffering from a psychosis that prevents them from rational thought. Normal people do not behave in this manner. The fact that these people have the power to make the most critical decisions regarding everything from immigration to war to pandemics is very scary. And yet, no one questions this. Democrats have jumped the shark. They stole an election and are now putting into place the most radical and anti-American agenda we have ever witnessed. Jobs are being lost by the tens of thousands every day. We are being forced to buy energy from foreign countries when just last year we were energy independent. Men are encouraged to participate in women’s athletics because we are being forced to participate in affirming a mental disorder. Our military is, once again, on the move in the Middle East. A fraudulent President in mental decline is clearly unfit for the office he holds. Our Capitol looks like a war zone for the first time in modern history. Most Americans believe that the inmates are running the asylum. Some may contend that this is just the way politics works, one party wins and executes its agenda and the other loses. However, one party did not win and if evidence was presented, it would be clear that the democrats committed the ultimate act of treason when they nullified the votes of over 75 million Americans. We are living in a nightmare where obvious truth is buried, censorship is rampant, and a political party so corrupt and evil has seized the levers of power to enact a radical agenda that will do great harm to this country while any opposition is being vilified and silenced. I am very concerned about this. We are in the aftermath of a coup d’etat with few options. President Trump stands as a bulwark against this insanity and they hate him for it. Would that we had Republicans who could see that he, his policies, and his courage are the antidote to the insanity of the radical democrats.

Re#22 You are correct. I believe that the treasoncrats are attempting to avoid the issue by declaring that it addresses presidents who have been impeached more than once. Two problems with that line of "reasoning". 1. It still singles out one individual, after the fact. 2. Impeachment is NOT a conviction.

Impeachment just means "indicted" . He was tried. He was not convicted. Usually people who are not convicted, are not penalized in any way. Its not a precedent you want to let stand. I would think that a law like this would not stand up constitutionally. Would be interesting to let the Supreme Court take a look at it.

Yes, it is in fact a Bill of Attainder. The proponents would say it is not because it is 'bracketed' to a 'class' of people who have been impeached twice. But this is about as obvious as a phony bracket can get. Suppose the Bill instead would apply only to those born on (name a date) in (name a place) to parents named (insert names), and so on so that in a practical sense it could only apply to one person. So it is in fact a Bill of Attainder, and any rational judge would deem it so. And then, as another post on this page notes, impeachment is merely an accusation. Are we to impose penalties on those who are accused but vindicated at trial? In ordinary times, this would be a complete joke. But in this times...who knows. But one possible consequence of it could be a future Bill imposing the same restrictions on any and all House of Representatives members who sponsored a Bill to penalize any person for being impeached twice.

They are oblivious to the fact that 75 million Americans do not share their sick views, or they simply believe their emotions are more important than the public good. It doesn't take much to dupe people with a constant baggage of lies and fake news from the fake media. It's known as liberalism or progressivism. It's been in play now for several decades. Although now it's on fast forward. They get their power from numbers. Individually they are ignorant empty vessels filled only with hate. We have regressed back to the savage days of the Vikings. Instead of finding good they seek out evil. They found themselves a real dumb bum in Biden. Everyday he becomes more embolden with his dementia and power. There's only one way to deal with them and that's to beat them. We can't turn the cheek. The battle must be fought and we will win.

Are we in ancient Egypt where they erased the names of pharaohs they hated and destroyed their statues or are we in Stalinist Russia where historic pictures were doctored to make enemies "non-persons" and removed them from the pictorial record? Criminy! These types of deliberate acts show the real hatred and where it is coming from in this country! Is this supposed to bring us together & unite us "as one"? Really? First off, only two former presidents, Taft and Kennedy, are buried in Arlington National Cemetery. Most of the others are buried at their libraries now (Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush 41,) or, in the past, in family plots (both Adams', Taylor, Tyler, etc.) or even at their old estates (Washington, Jefferson, Jackson, etc.) A few even have special burial tombs/mausoleums (Lincoln, Grant, Garfield, etc). Trump will no doubt go where his own mom/dad are resting in peace ---- or he too will go the special library route as well. No matter ... it's highly unlikely Trump will even want to go to ANC. Which just highlights the bigoted & mean-spirited nature of this madness. This has to stop.

#78, Eric Blair/George Orwell was an idealist who saw his fantasies torn apart in front of him during the Spanish Civil War prior to WWII. He was nearly killed by a sniper and at one point had to escape from communist forces. His ideas about the ability of any kind of socialism were destroyed the longer he lived. Animal Farm is clear about the ability of anyone to determine what is fair for others. That book and 1984 made it clear how tyrants can bend others to their insanity and cruelty. 1984 used to be required reading for high school students in the mid 1960s, at least in my part of PA. I doubt you could find 10 teens today who have read it and fewer who understand it.

A year or so ago, a poster comment attributed the evil goings-on in our country as separating the wheat from the chaff. At that time, the declaration was met with skepticism; however, considering the current escalating hateful and unrelenting irrational leftist conduct and events, it may be time to consider what is written in Scripture. - Satan is thrown down to earth. / “And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world--he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. ... (Revelation 12:7-9, 17) ~ Spiritual forces of evil. / “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12) ~ Evil Spiritual Forces / “Then Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve.” (Luke 22:3) ~ Godlessness in the Last Days / “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, ... unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. ...” (2 Timothy 3:1-9) ~ The First Beast / “And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. ...” (Revelation 13:1-10) ~~~ Some translations identify the First Beast as “representing worldly power and political authority run amok.” ~ Mark of the Beast / “Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. ...” (Revelation 13:16-18) A separating of the wheat from the chaff?

If this crackpot bill ever hits the floor of the House of Representatives, it should be immediately voted down as being an unconstitutional bill of attainder targeting Donald Trump. Any wimpy Republicans who would vote for that bill would be crashing and burning their careers as far as the 75 million or so Trump supporters who make up about 85% of reliable Republican voters are concerned.

They were elected by We the People to represent US in Washington. They do not represent me. This is heartbreaking.and very dangerous. We are but a social experiment at this point. WASHINGTON – The Equality Act is expected to advance in Congress this week. It's a controversial bill designed to overhaul the nation's civil rights laws to include LGBT Americans, but many worry it will trample on the rights of women and people of faith. Under the Equality Act, disagreement is considered discrimination. It includes gay marriage, biological males competing in women's sports, and doctors performing procedures--like gender reassignments--that go against their conscience.(Snip) Under the bill, Christian beliefs are unlawful. Churches could be prevented from requiring employees to abide by their biblical beliefs about marriage and differences between men and women.

Former President Trump on Monday lashed out after the Supreme Court declined to block the Manhattan district attorney from obtaining his financial records, blasting the probe as politically motivated and pledging to "fight on." "The Supreme Court never should have let this 'fishing expedition' happen, but they did," Trump said in a statement. "This is something which has never happened to a President before, it is all Democrat-inspired in a totally Democrat location, New York City and State, completely controlled and dominated by a heavily reported enemy of mine, Governor Andrew Cuomo."

Governor Greg Abbott requested statewide designation for major disaster relief from President Biden. Biden denied the statewide designation and only approved some counties in Texas, not all of them. Texas has 254 counties. Biden approved only 77 counties for disaster relief. The governor calls it an important first step but it falls far short of what Texas officials requested.
