A statement from Kathryn Limbaugh and family said Rush Hudson Limbaugh III was honorably laid to rest Wednesday in St. Louis, with close immediate family in attendance. There will be additional celebrations of Rush's life to come both virtually and in his home town of Cape Girardeau, the statement said.

This was so like Rush! No flashy Funeral with Hundreds of Big Shots, Hollywood Types and Politicians all in attendance. No huge reception. Just a small, private funeral for a Great Man who loved his country! Our Flag is still lowered. Not sure our neighbors like it as they flew theirs upside down during Trump's term in office. So, I could care less if they like it!! Also, I think Kathryn Limbaugh is a very Classy Lady who has handled this sad event with grace and poise! My Heart goes out to her.

Just a pic, no further info and I have questions. It looks like a military service, flag on the casket, uniformed Marine (?). Who would authorize such a thing? Why would it be afforded to Rush? And most puzzling, St. Louis? Rush's childhood home of Cape Girardeau is a hundred miles down river. I am unaware of any ties he had to St.Louis. Our local media have always been quick to note and national attention here, I've never heard any Rush mentions as such, any time. And, I won't go into specifics, but I've gotten the impression over the years that Rush was somewhat at odds with St. Louis. Could be misdirection by the family, whatever, but something is not right.

The incredible value of Rush can be seen in the enormous hole in the 12 to 3 pm eastern radio slot he filled so incredibly well. These 3 hours a day need to be filled but by whom is the question. We need someone to both expose the delusional policies of the Demoncrats and most importantly, explain what our country is and what it should continue to be. Rush did both so well and for so long that we at times assumed that he would always be there for us. May EIB quickly find a replacement for this remarkably gifted American voice.

Further investigation into Bellfontaine Cemetery indicates it is indeed the resting place for many noted Missourians. 87,000 are buried there, 100 new each year. I can't speak to its exclusive access, in fact, just the opposite I'd guess. A terrible part of the metro area, a bit north and west from downtown. A stone's throw from Ferguson which itself is surrounded by historically black, high crime smaller communities. BC is bordered to the south by North St.Louis, east and south are old small business/industry relics. If Rush chose this cemetery, I'd guess it's an acknowledgement of Missouri's importance to him. If you know where the grave site is, I'd recommend not visiting.

All over the country, there are businesses, schools, and churches that are still not allowed to reopen, but it’s a different story at migrant shelters. The CDC is now bending the rules to allow these shelters to operate at full capacity. Stef W. Kight reports at Axios: CDC lets child migrant shelters fill to 100% despite COVID concern. The Centers for Disease Control is allowing shelters handling child migrants who cross the U.S.-Mexico border to expand to full capacity, abandoning a requirement that they stay near 50% to inhibit the spread of the coronavirus, Axios has learned.

WASHINGTON – The Equality Act is expected to advance in Congress this week. It's a controversial bill designed to overhaul the nation's civil rights laws to include LGBT Americans, but many worry it will trample on the rights of women and people of faith. Speaking to reporters during a press briefing, White House press secretary Jen Psaki acknowledged the failures after being pressed about the administration’s handling of the situation. “I would say it’s clear we need to work more on getting the message out and being very clear, now is not the time to come,” said Psaki, before reiterating the Biden administration’s claim that “the majority
