The supreme court has taken a knee…let me explain why it is so evident: In a 6-3 ruling today the U.S. Supreme Court has refused to grant writ to hear the Pennsylvania election challenge cases(Snip). While the majority of media will likely celebrate this decision; and while the court has refused to hear the case(s) based on their position the issues are “moot”; there appears to be an underlying motive not discussed.(Snip)In essence the Robert’s Court is saying they will allow any/all methods and manipulations of election law within states, and only look to the state outcome. This is very troublesome.

Justice Clarence Thomas dissented. FTA: “One wonders what this Court waits for. We failed to settle this dispute before the election, and thus provide clear rules. Now again we fail to provide clear rules for future elections. The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more of us. I respectfully dissent.”

Color me not surprised. We're down to one really brave supreme, so he will be the one they are most likely to target. Trembling lip Kavanaugh is a pathetic sellout, and Barrett is just plain useless. If they think their actions will prevent packing the courts, they are silly fools. Maybe we should threaten to pack the courts, if there's ever a chance for US to do so. Or, maybe we threaten to drag the pretenders out of their cushy lifetime seats. We've been so had, and I'm just sick of dealing. Somebodies need to get got!

The Supreme Court looks the other way, and in effect gives States their approval to break their own laws to manipulate the results of elections. Why do we have Supreme Court Justices, then??? Why not let the States be sovereign?

This is not hard to understand. Judges are human like the rest of us and they are fearful of blackshirt Antifa and BLM types showing up at their respective houses. A first year law student could see that this case had importance far beyond Trump and the last election. It would be easy to dismiss this decision as the work of fools. It is, but something a bit more primitive is at work here, self preservation.

#16. you beat me to it. The SCOTUS of 2021 will be known as the "Six Cowards Court". Having taken an oath to preserve, defend, and protect the Constitution, they turn around and declare the Constitution Unconstitutional. Apparently our Founding Document is not authoritative. When it says that State Legislatures set the rules for elections, the Constitution illegally meddles in States' Rights. This will go into the books along with Dred Scott. Many have already observed that this is Catch 22. Antifa and BLM know where they live. They had better rule for the Deep State or their families will suffer. Funny thing. Our Founders pledged their lives and their sacred honor. The Coward Six pledged to take a knee.

The federal judiciary is an illegitimate political body. Autocratic, un-elected, un-accountable to anyone, least of all the will of the people. John Roberts is particularly cowardly, and Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are following his spineless accommodation of liberal fascism. The federal judiciary should be dismantled in favor of elected, Term-Limited state courts.

The language of the US Constitution is VERY CLEAR. The State Legislatures make the terms of ELECTION LAW. These laws were circumvented by persons who are not part of the Legislature in each state. Most of the Justices have political agendas or are wussified with fear. WE NO LONGER have three independent branches of government when the Judicial will no longer stand its ground based on the Constitution. We are in a Constitutional crisis when they will not even hear cases. It is up to us in the states to hone in on our Legislatures. If WE the People won't fight for the Constitution, then its all over for us a a Representative Republic of States, and maybe it will be time to secede.

WASHINGTON – The Equality Act is expected to advance in Congress this week. It's a controversial bill designed to overhaul the nation's civil rights laws to include LGBT Americans, but many worry it will trample on the rights of women and people of faith. Under the Equality Act, disagreement is considered discrimination. It includes gay marriage, biological males competing in women's sports, and doctors performing procedures--like gender reassignments--that go against their conscience.(Snip) Under the bill, Christian beliefs are unlawful. Churches could be prevented from requiring employees to abide by their biblical beliefs about marriage and differences between men and women.

Governor Greg Abbott requested statewide designation for major disaster relief from President Biden. Biden denied the statewide designation and only approved some counties in Texas, not all of them. Abbott asked for a declaration that covered the entire state because the winter storm knocked out power and heat throughout the state, as well as leaving millions of Texans without water. Texas has 254 counties. Biden approved only 77 counties for disaster relief. The governor calls it an important first step but it falls far short of what Texas officials requested.
