Former President Trump on Monday lashed out after the Supreme Court declined to block the Manhattan district attorney from obtaining his financial records, blasting the probe as politically motivated and pledging to "fight on." "The Supreme Court never should have let this 'fishing expedition' happen, but they did," Trump said in a statement. "This is something which has never happened to a President before, it is all Democrat-inspired in a totally Democrat location, New York City and State, completely controlled and dominated by a heavily reported enemy of mine, Governor Andrew Cuomo."

Why should the left need to pack the SC? They always vote left. This decision is horrible. The SC knew this is political persecution. Is there a decent person in power anywhere?

I think trump should pack up at Trump Tower, His Business and move it all to Florida! Sell the Tower and take every single dollar with him. Do what Rush did years ago when they kept taxing him more and more. He simply left and took his MONEY with him. I can't even imagine how many Tax dollars Trump would take with him. Seems to me NY might miss that money! Maybe the Gov might want to call off his Prosecutors. Trump Money and business is going to leave a Huge hole in NY City!!

Every single branch of the Federal Communist Government is out to totally destroy and imprison our lawfully re-elected President Trump as a warning to all of us who voted for and continue to support him and the restoration of our Republic. At some point when they come to arrest our President we must all stand up shoulder to shoulder with him and fight against this onslaught of the Deep State cabal and the communist death democrats. They absolutely cannot allow President Trump to go free or have any chance of regaining power but this is also a message to all of us. Dissent will not be tolerated. We will come for you, your family, your home, your possessions and we will take it all away and destroy you if you do not submit. Time is running out.

Terrible ruling. But on top of that a really stupid move. Does the DA not know that the IRS has audited PDT every year for decades and that, if there was anything amiss in his taxes, someone there would have leaked it back in 2016 or in 2020? PDT should sue for harassment.

If they can get the job done the aggressive leftist and liberal Democrats will put Trump in the cell next Ghislaine Maxwell for as long as possible. They have to pin a criminal record on Trump to keep him from running again for President in 2024. Apparently the IRS has already accepted Trump tax returns for the last eight years and did not find any big problems. This would not be happening now if Trump did not as an “outsider” get elected President and discombobulate the “insider” controlled DC corrupt political system. I agree with the above poster that the three Republican nominated Justices who got on the court during Trump’s term were probably preselected by McConnell to play the establishment Republican game. Just a few days ago in a speech McConnell told Trump that he would be persecuted in both the civil and criminal courts. It will be interesting to see who the Democrats put on the Supreme Court when a vacancy occurs. If it is the Chief Justice who will be replaced, look for the Democrat nominee to be Barack Obama, with all the Republican RINOs in the Senate voting to put Obama on the Court. That’s the way the DC political UniParty operates.

WASHINGTON – The Equality Act is expected to advance in Congress this week. It's a controversial bill designed to overhaul the nation's civil rights laws to include LGBT Americans, but many worry it will trample on the rights of women and people of faith. Under the Equality Act, disagreement is considered discrimination. It includes gay marriage, biological males competing in women's sports, and doctors performing procedures--like gender reassignments--that go against their conscience.(Snip) Under the bill, Christian beliefs are unlawful. Churches could be prevented from requiring employees to abide by their biblical beliefs about marriage and differences between men and women.
