If Dianne Feinstein hadn't lived the life she had, her story might be the product of a screenwriter's over-fertile imagination. The synopsis: After surviving an abusive childhood, Feinstein overcomes personal loss — she is widowed at age 45 — and repeated electoral defeat to become a pioneer for women in politics and powerful member of the U.S. Senate. Along the way she survives a mayoral recall effort, a brutal Senate reelection campaign, an attempted bombing of her home and a gruesome brush with death. No thanks, not going to have any sympathy for this leftist anti-gun person who had a Chinese agent working for her for decades. Anything bad that happens to her won't be near enough compared to what she deserves.
Leftists, eating their own.

She can thank Dan White for her career.

Not ideological? Then what would you call "the dogma lives loudly within you"?

Or, #3, you could say she can thank Twinkies for her career.
(For you youngsters, Dan White was a SF police officer who shot Harvey Milk plus the Mayor of SF,
White's defense was that he ate too many Twinkies.
The argument worked, to a degree. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the murders.)

Are we missing something here? This is sounding like an 'end of career' wrap up of sorts for her. You know the saying about still waters run deep? That describes Fineswine very well. She doesn't need to be loud and obnoxious like her fellow members. She manages to do her evil and her corruption in the shadows. 20 years with a Chinese spy on her staff? How much bullet train money did she steer to her hubby Richard Blum?
Nobody should ever mistake her quiet demeanor for being a decent person. She is very corrupt, about as corrupted as Pelosi is, given they come from the same city. She can emit a cold stare that would freeze the bahoogies of any man sitting as witness in front of her committee.

Fineslime is an old senile wealthy despicable woman who never held a job in her life and made it big with insider information she got thanks to her being elected for life.

The only “tragedy” in Feinstein’s life is that she was ever elected to any public office. That “tragedy” was foisted onto the rest of the country by the vapid population of California.

#7, they are getting ready to shuffle her out the door. She made the unforgivable mistake of hugging Ted Cruz after a hearing where they were in opposition. Her effort at 'collegiality' is absolutely the kiss of death to the extreme leftist thugs now running things.

This isn’t “news analysis”. What rubbish by Barabak.
Feinstein is being cancelled by the far leftward drift of the ruling party. With all of her faults - I was certainly no fan of her imperialist ways - she was still able to complement Lindsey on holding a fair Supreme Court hearing. That did it! How dare she!!!!! Barabak writes of this while calling her a partisan.
She should have retired. But who would have taken her place? Another Kamala Harris? An Alex Padilla? God forbid, an Eric Swalwell? There are no good Dems.

When the article started out, I thought it was her obituary. I'd have read it all had that been the case. Don't bother until then.
