A Laughable Election Challenger

Everything that’s old is new again, and that has never applied more to a politician than Charlie Crist. The retread has run for office in Florida enough times to make Beto O’Rourke blush. He also happens to be a former Republican turned Democrat, making him the ultimate in political cynics. Now, Crist is doing the media rounds to promote a possible run for governor against Ron DeSantis.

Demoncrats ran an obviously substandard, foolish, evil person for president so they could throw in our face how they can overrule the voters with their election fraud. I very fervently hope that Florida does not let this happen with the Democrats and Christ. For that matter, I am sure they will try it here in Texas too. If they get away with it here and/or in other states, that will help finish off what little is left or country.

Don't forget. The Demon-Rats have mastered the art of stealing elections. No Republican -- and I mean none of them -- are safe!!! We laugh that a looser like Crist could challenge Ron DeSantis, but with all the ways the Demon-Rats have mastered vote stealing and creating faux votes -- with no consequences for that evil -- then anything is possible!!!

Crist figures, "Holy cow, if an complete loser like Biden can win....I'm a shoe in!" And if they use Dominion voting systems.....he may be right. Florida better be working HARD to fix their election processes, and that does NOT mean more voting by mail and more corrupt voting machines.

I'm not sure I'd laugh about it; we laughed about senile and been around the block old xiden, and look where he is. Third time was a charm for him, even if he had to steal it with "the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.”

In the Tampa / St. Pete TV market we saw this coming from a mile away. Light in his loafers Charlie ran commercials for 10 days after the election, claiming his “...mother always told him to say thank you...”. What BS! Charlie has always been in it for Charlie and almost got beat in his last election, had it not been for a nasty Republican primary. Ms. Luna ran a strong campaign. DeSantis will wipe the floor with Charlie, I predict 60-40 win.

Euthanasia/Assisted Suicide: How It Starts: It’s just a safety valve, a tiny change in medical ethics and the law. Protective guidelines will protect against abuse! Where It Is Now: There are too many obstacles to death! We have to make it easier to die! Where It’s Going: Death on demand for any reason (already the law in Germany). Some jurisdictions are moving along this trajectory quickly and some more slowly. But over time, that is the way the current flows. Canada is speed runner in this regard. After its supreme court imposed a positive right to euthanasia in 2015, the country cheered and embraced “medical assistance in dying” (MAID) with an enthusiasm

It’s weird that our elite betters of eliteness and betterness refuse to acknowledge that the emperor not only forgot to dress himself today but that he’s actively drooling. Check out President Asterisk trying to figure out who the Secretary of Defense is. Not that SecDef is an important job anymore or anything. His gig now is mostly to rid the ranks of extremists who don’t think men can change into women through the power of activists demanding everyone else pretend they can.

It’s almost our favorite day of the year: the beginning of Daylight Savings Time, when we can fast-forward our clocks, stop the winter darkness that descends by mid-afternoon, and crawl out of our stuffy homes after dinner into the evening light. Amid Biden’s “dark winter” of COVID hell, the act of “springing forward” out of Standard Time is especially welcomed this year. That’s why a glorious piece of legislation popping up in the Senate is a bright spot this week — not only because it’s bipartisan, but also because it would literally grant daylight to weary Americans.

February 27, 2008, was, by recollection, a gloomy Wednesday in New York City, except . . . it was actually sunny. The terrible news shades the memory gray — Bill Buckley died that morning at his home in Stamford, Conn. He was 82 and had battled a number of persistent and complicating afflictions. They won out. But he went, as they say, with his boots on — in his study, writing, adding to the millions of words he had already shared with the world on topics from Bach and GPS systems to tax cuts and communism.

Given how flawed human nature is, America has been a remarkable moral achievement. This is the truism that separates the wise man from the fool. This is the truism that separates the left from the anti-left. Those who acknowledge how flawed human nature is compare America to reality. Those who do not, compare America to some utopian image: a country free of inequality, prejudices, intolerance, sexual misbehavior, greed, etc. This divide helps explain why those who hold a biblical worldview -- usually religious Jews and Christians -- are more likely to appreciate America than those who do not.

And … file a countersuit? We gave Dominion their say in my earlier post, so fair is fair. Rudy Giuliani issued a typically combative response to the defamation lawsuit filed in federal court by Dominion, threatening to use the action to “fully and completely” investigate the voting-system company. Consider this a more florid version of the “yay discovery” response that Giuliani’s supporters have expressed, with a side of bravado: Rudy Giuliani slammed Dominion Voting Systems on Monday in response to the company’s announcement that it was suing him for defamation. “Dominion’s defamation lawsuit for $1.3 billion will allow me to investigate their history, finances, and practices fully and completely,”
