Should you quarantine after Thanksgiving?
Yes, CNN's Dr. Leana Wen explains

Thanksgiving is over. Many people celebrated with just their household unit, but many others did not. In fact, up to 50 million Americans are traveling over the Thanksgiving weekend, according to the American Automobile Association, or AAA. The comings and goings of US travelers belie the fact that the Covid-19 pandemic continues to surge. The US reported 2,046 deaths Wednesday -- the highest one-day coronavirus death toll the country has reported since early May, Johns Hopkins University data shows. The country also hit a new daily hospitalization record, with 89,954 people currently hospitalized for Covid-19, according to the Covid Tracking Project.

I do not consent. How about everyone that is totally afraid and scared you-know-what-less of this virus, go test a guillotine. You won't feel a thing, and your fear of a virus will quickly be over.

Enough already. Is anyone else annoyed that both a reporter and doctor with Chinese last names advise us to act like cowards and melt into background of life in the face of a virus unleashed by the Chinese? Does anyone else notice the unceasing calls for us to respond to a virus as if we are subjects rather than citizens? That our would-be masters in government and media want to dictate how and when we are free to make our own decisions? Dr. Wen was born in Shanghai to Chinese parents and here she is in all her glory advising freeborn people to act like cattle. I am sick of foreign people coming in to this country and immediately accessing avenues to try to lord over the rest of us. It is untenable.

OK - this virus spreads just like the flu - a bit in the air when people cough or sneeze, hand to eye contact, kissing & contact on surfaces etc. It is about twice as 'deadly' as the 'regular' flu - that is if you are older & frail it can kill you just like the flu will kill you but twice as likely. Of course if you are healthy, get out in the sun & have vitamin D & C and are not morbidly obese, have heart disease, diabetes, lupus or some other chronic health challenge - you are likely to not get it at all or if you do just suffer for a week with cold symptoms. If you do not have symptoms you are not spreading it. So no, you do not have to quarantine - it is not small pox, typhus or the plague.

Dr. Ferrer makes over $500,000 for these divinations. Never in the history of mankind there were lockdowns of healthy people, only quarantines of the sick. Midget Fauci should come up with a double-blinded study on lockdowns and masks before we accept this 1984 Orwellian nightmare.

Fifty million people traveling is an extremely low estimate. My home is located about a mile from Interstate 80 in PA and that highway was a steady roar day and night from last Tuesday on. Americans ignored the Thanksgiving lockdown. If the state police had attempted roadblocks to check bat flue test results there would have been pandemonium. Radio traffic on the HAM bands confirms that behavior throughout the country. The dicktaters have lost their mojo.

Republicans have picked up their 11th seat overall in the U.S. House and the third seat in California, as Republican David Valadao reclaimed the seat he lost in the farm belt two years ago. The former congressman defeated Democratic Rep. TJ Cox, who ousted Valadao in the 21st Congressional District two years ago by 862 votes. Valadao endorsed President Donald Trump after withholding his backing in 2016 — a risk in a swing district the president lost by 15 points four years ago. But he also stressed his independence, criticizing the Trump administration for family separations at the border and promoting

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor issued a stinging rebuke of her conservative colleagues, calling out what she perceived as hypocrisy and false equivalencies in Wednesday’s ruling against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s COVID-19 restrictions. In a 5-4 decision, the court’s conservative block of justices granted a temporary injunction requested by a Catholic Diocese and two Orthodox Jewish synagogues. By so doing, the court narrowly held that Cuomo’s regulations limiting attendance at religious services likely violated the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment. It was the court’s first major decision since the staunchly conservative Justice Amy Coney Barret joined

President Trump’s disastrous mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic probably cost him re-election. Yet it seems mind-boggling that he still won more votes than any incumbent president in American history despite his dereliction of responsibility at a time of a once-in-a-century health crisis and economic devastation. Why are President-elect Joe Biden’s margins so thin in the states that clinched his victory? And why did the president’s down-ticket enablers flourish in the turbulent, plague-torn conditions they helped bring about? Democrats, struggling to make sense of it all, are locked in yet another round of mutual recrimination: They were either too progressive for swing voters — too socialist or aggressive with ambitious policies
