To my fellow 60-70 year olds, we continue to lose what building blocks of the familiar we know. The final, or so it seems, chapter is begun and the wheels do not stop. We slowly die.

Alex is one of a few guys I have spent a part of my day with, everyday, for years. I will really miss him. I hope that my prayers add to millions of others, helped to give him more time with his family This year, the threads of my past have been broken eight times. Two who were very close confidants, other friends and elderly family members. Each one was special to me, and none had anything to do with Covid. So far 2020 has been the worst year of my life...and THAT is saying something.

Oh, I hate to hear this. He was one of a kind. Humble, smart, lived life in the spotlight out of the spotlight, lived on his own terms. Decades long career. We knew this would get him, like it gets so many others, this horrid pancreatic cancer. Michael Landon fought it to the last minute as well. Hate cancer. Pray for Dan Bongino as well. Cancer invades every life, even if from a slight distance, as you watch suffering of those you love or know even slightly. Aside from dementia, it is my #1 hated enemy in this life.

Sorry to hear this. He fought a good fight and lasted over a year and a half with about the worse possible cancer survival rate. My sister-in-law died May 20th, five months after her diagnosis. Ruth Ginsburg fought for several years with it. Makes you wonder what or how some people last for a while and for others it's a quick death. Blessings to his family.

Former Vice President Mike Pence has been extremely quiet since January 6th, when he presided over an Electoral College objection process that was cut short by his rules decisions. Amid the Capitol uprising that even spurred him to be ushered out by the Secret Service, it seemed to be a foregone conclusion that Pence must have been partial to the arguments that there were no major irregularities in the 2020 elections. Pence put that presumption to rest today with an op-ed published at the conservative Daily Signal. In the opinion piece, the former vice president weighs in on the “election irregularities”

Dr. Anthony Fauci just spilled the beans: contrary to the implicit promise numerous politicians made that COVID-19 restrictions would only last “until there’s an effective vaccine,” Fauci says the arrival of a vaccine won’t mean life will return to normal, perhaps for more than a year. “If you’re talking about getting back to a degree of normality which resembles where we were prior to COVID, it’s going to be well into 2021, maybe even towards the end of 2021,” said the director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases on Friday. There’s a reason for it. Major media almost entirely swallowed the claim, conspired with its promoters, endlessly and prominently mongered it and has never apologized for so doing.

Washington–Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has won back his full pension as part of a settlement of his lawsuit arising from his firing during the Trump administration more than three years ago, his lawyers announced Thursday. McCabe, a frequent target of then-President Donald Trump’s ire, was fired in March 2018 by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions after the Justice Department’s inspector general determined he had misled internal investigators about his involvement in a news media leak. The termination came hours before he was to have retired, denying him his pension. McCabe has denied intentionally deceiving anyone, was never criminally charged and blasted his firing as politically motivated.

During the 2020 election, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent hundreds of millions of dollars to turn out likely Democratic voters. But this wasn’t traditional political spending. He funded a targeted, private takeover of government election operations by nominally nonpartisan — but demonstrably ideological — nonprofit organizations.Analysis conducted by our team demonstrates this money significantly increased Joe Biden’s vote margin in key swing states. In places like Georgia, when Biden won by 12,000 votes, and Arizona, where he won by 10,000, the spending likely put him over the top.

Since March, at least 160,000 illegal migrants have been released into the United States. There is a broad use of limited parole authority that made more than 30,000 migrants eligible for work permits
