MIAMI — NBC has been rocked by an internal feud over its decision to host a town hall with Donald Trump at the same time as ABC’s Thursday event with Joe Biden, a scheduling move that critics contend is a gift to the president after he refused to participate in a debate originally scheduled for Thursday. The internal conflict extends to the highest levels of NBCUniversal, where MSNBC head Phil Griffin strongly disagreed with NBC News President Noah Oppenheim’s decision to unilaterally move forward with the town hall during that time slot, according to three high-ranking sources at the TV

Only leftist propaganda can appear MSM. How dare a network try and offer another point of view. I'm all for pulling the license of every major network for not upholding the first amendment and for pushing an anti American agenda.

President Trump did not "refuse" to participate in the debate. The debate commission decided to unilaterally change the rules in the middle of the game to benefit Joe Biden (beyond those they had already done, such as naming a former intern to Biden as the moderator). President Trump agreed to debate under the original terms and with the moderators the commission chose. But Biden and his allies on the commission moved the goal posts again.
I doubt if Sleepy Uncle Joe is going to be able to show up for the last debate. I'm thinking it conflicts with his sock drawer cleaning night.

wouldn't Phil Griffin work for the folks at NBCUniversal?
Seems he's illustrating his bias by complaining.

The leftists at NBC are mad that they can't exercise their bias against Trump.

NBC is going host its town hall with Donald Trump at the same time ABC hosts its event with Joe Biden. GREAT!
Prediction: The President's town hall event is going to be seen by far more viewers than Biden's event, possibly by an amazing percentage. This will be a blessing is disguise for Biden if he has his (ever increasing) gaffs and brain freezes.

FTA: ''NBC News has hired an outside third-party firm to independently identify many of the attendees at tonight’s Miami town hall to ensure that they represent a true cross section of voters, one of the NBC sources told POLITICO.''
Is that NBCs job? People who want to go to the town hall will go. It's none of NBCs business.
It seems that NBC is better at investigating than the FBI.

Of course, the Trump campaign never agreed to a "virtual" debate....

This somehow seems to assume that Joe the Schmo can pull enough viewers to constitute "a town".

With the exception of Sunday Night Football, when the Packers are playing, I stay away from NBC programming. But tonight, I'll make an exception. Usually, the evening fare is Lou Dobbs, Tucker Carlson, Hannity (yeah, he can't shaddup but he has great guests), and occasionally Laura Ingraham.

Go figure. A for-profit TV network is in a demented froth because they are going to eat the lunch of a rival network. I guess they would rather have zero ratings by showing Slow Joe debating himself (and losing badly).

The so-called mainstream (liberal) TV networks, and that at times includes the Fox News Channel have shamed themselves by becoming the propaganda arm of the leftist and liberal Democrats.

Is ABC hiring an independent 3rd part firm to verify the attendees that will be at their town hall? Perhaps, but only to ensure no one will ask Joe any sticky questions.

It's about the $$$$$.
The powers-that-be at NBC know that President Trump's town hall meeting will draw millions of viewers. Maybe a few thousand for Creepy Uncle Joe Biden over on ABC.
They may hate their president, Donald Trump, but they love the $$$ he will help bring in to the network. And, ultimately, that is what really matters...

Actually Joe may get a good size audience. Kind of like a car crash that you cannot look away from. People may watch just to wait for the implosion.

They should be thanking NBC for pulling viewers away from Biden. The less people see Biden, the less damage he will do to himself.

So that means Code Pink types will get a chance to protest and that will be great TV, right NBC? After 4 years the neocommuninsts haven't figured out that this President has no problem with hecklers. He eats them up and spits them out and in the process energizes his supporters and gains new ones.
I'll watch it later on any venue but the NBC network.
