ST. PAUL, Minn. The earliest final numbers from the 2020 election will not be available until a full week after Election Day, Minnesota election officials explained Tuesday. On a call Tuesday morning, Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon and his office outlined how Election Day 2020 will look and how ballots will be processed statewide this year. Early voting in Minnesota is already underway. New this year, the state of Minnesota will start counting absentee ballots 14 days before Election Day and will continue counting ballots until the close of business Nov. 10, a week after the Nov. 3 Election

This is unacceptable. If they aren't competent enough to count votes, then send them to the White House and let Trump count them. Otherwise, revamp you system before election day.

Warning to all Minnesota DFL's. That means you have to check your car trunk and deliver all ballot boxes to the election office by Monday the 9th! No Excuses!

Not if President Trump's then counted votes are more than can possibly be overcome by Democrat mail in ballots. Often on Election Nights the winner is announced long before the mail in votes are counted (based on historic county by county and city by city data that shows past histories and the then existing mail in vote trends). These trends change very little from the every four years Presidential elections.

Why do they bother even counting them at all? They already have Biden winning Minn. and probably know exactly how many votes he wins by.

oh please, everyone knows, from experience, that all the votes can be counted, and the election called well before 3 a.m. The last time the dems openly tried to steal the election was when gore ran against President Bush. They needed more time, hence, hanging chads.

How is this known 3 weeks before the election even takes place? And, if you know it now, what steps are you NOT taken to allow it to occur? It's ridiculous! Preposterous, even!

Most States don't give final results on Election Day..... because they can't officially do a canvass until the machines are back in election commission custody. Having done a couple of recounts in NY for candidate friends, machines aren't available for challenges for at least a week. No biggie and no conspiracy, just the legal facts of life.

May we venture to suggest which animal offal Steve Simon is full of? There's bat guano, bull scat, feline diarrhea for three. So this bat, bull and cat scat government hat is going to hand count the ballot fallot honestly and true? Yeah, riight. Me and the 101st!

Pathetic example of not getting the job done, or doing your job. The Minnesota Sec of State should be embarrassed by his public disgrace.

Make sure that Minnesota doesn’t matter. It, CA, WA, NY and OR appear to be failed states anyway.

Well if they're consistent Biden's winning ballots will be found in the trunk of a car.

It had better not. Election day is Election day, I don't care who is too lazy to get their vote in on time. You snooze, you lose, better luck next time.

Yep, they will continue to find "lost" and "somehow overlooked" boxes of thousands of ballots to be added to the count until they arrive at "the right answer".....this is how that worthless idiot punk Al Franken managed to cheat his way into the Senate.
You can bet that they will pull the exact same fraud this time, too, to ensure that Trump cannot win. With an endless supply of fraudulent ballots, they can overcome any amount of actual legitimate votes.

That's because so many Minnesotans are missing fingers or toes from hog farming accidents. For an accurate count each town has to find enough fully fingered and toe-d residents to be able to add up the totals

A week is absurd. They just want to know how many 'discovered ballots' are needed for Biden before reporting the results.
