In the 2020 general election, more Americans will vote by mail than ever before. Some states, such as California, have mailed so-called unsolicited ballots to all registered voters. Meanwhile, many others have expanded absentee ballot eligibility requirements. One way or another, millions of Americans will vote via mail this fall, which could create a nightmare scenario in which the election outcome could be in flux weeks after Election Day. (Snip) Unbeknownst to many, mail-in voting is not as simple as it sounds. Each state has different rules when it comes to casting mail-in ballots. Some require multiple witnesses. Others require
Of course "mail in ballots" will taint the election! That's what Democrats want... a tainted election that they win!

"so-called unsolicited ballots" No Talgo you idiot, if the voter was mailed a ballot and that voter did not solicit it, then it is unsolicited. For a person whose career is words you are pretty stupid as are your editors at the Hill if they don't understand that as well.

More mail in ballots mean more rejected ballots. It's the percentages. The high percentage of voided mail in ballots is stunning, While I was reviewing mail in ballots years ago, it immediately became apparent that far too many voters fail to follow the rules. I asked myself "How can so many voters be so darn careless? Bottom line: Republicans need to vote in person. Democrats need to vote by mail in ballot.

More than anything this is a generic statement that many people out there are unable to follow instructions. Strongly suspect that one objective of the hate-America faction is to screw up the election process so bad that a winner cannot be determined. These people like chaos.

If the price we have to pay for another four years of Trumpian peace and prosperity is Democrats whining, "We wuz robbed!" it will be worth it.

Casting doubt on the election was the intention of the left all along and, as sure as the sun rises, here comes the hill with a message from the DNC. Through internal polling the democrats by now realize they can't win even with massive and easily discoverable amounts of fraud so the next best thing is to delegitimize the results. If they thought Biden had a chance they wouldn't try to taint the results.

Forget even bothering with CA mail-ins, I know my ‘in-person’ vote here in Monterey will not matter... reason to moving to a red-state Coast, asap...

As Rush said one of the core constituency’s of the Democratic Party are stupid people. What do stupid people do? Loose the ballot, don’t fill it out right, don’t put a stamp on it, forget to mail it? That being said I saw a Louisiana mail in ballot and it’s complicated to fill out. My girlfriend and me both decided to vote in person.

Who are you going to believe, me or your own lying eyes?
THERE IS NO DEMOCRAT VOTER FRAUD! I know this because I read it in the New York Times. All these reports of lost ballots, dumped ballots, uncounted ballots, fraudulent ballots are just disinformation. Ignore them, it is Republican propaganda.
Everybody knows the mail is perfect. Nobody has ever had anything lost in the mail. Honest.
In a Democratic system, everybody votes. Live people, dead people, pets, cartoon characters, cows, deer, trees, leaves of grass: all votes count. And you should be able to vote as often as you want to. Voting is a right, after all.

Sad state that the rats chose to disenfrachise so many by last minute changes to voting rules. Rules are rules. Unfortunately only republican voters will end up disenfranchised. The rats made up votes will not be rejected. They know what they r doing.

Sorry, lots of properly rejected ballots is on the idiot voters, not on anyone else. I have never voted absentee, but my wife was going to be overseas for business and did get an absentee ballot once. She reports that it took her (a very intelligent, well read woman engineer) about three or four readings to be certain that she was doing it all correctly.
Lots of lazy folks with poor reading habits will skim the instructions, do it wrong and make their ballot invalid. Nobody's fault but their own. If it arrives late.....nobody's fault but their own.

I hope people look at mail boxes and drop boxes after the voting deadline to ensure people aren't stuffing them late.
And, if the time on the mail box is 3pm, then that should be the deadline for that box, just like any other piece of mail that would be put in that box, won't be picked up until the NEXT day.
USPS is Federal, which should allow the President to have the National Guard called up to monitor and ensure no one is tampering, or late stuffing, of boxes.

''...California, have mailed so-called unsolicited ballots...''
So-called? What else would they be called? Not Absentee Ballots, because those are already defined.
If the ''ballots'' were not asked for, then they are, by default, unsolicited!
I really wonder just how low the bar is to become a writer for the media?

The election is already suspect. Democrats are being caught in undisguised vote fraud operations all over the place. They will do anything to keep Hillary and the Deep State out of jail.

Depending on the state, and how and when those states log in the voter to check that voter off the list of registered voters, it should be possible to DISENFRANCHISE hundreds of thousands of voters simply by forging envelopes, each with a name and address of a voter... and drop them off still EMPTY, but sealed, in the collection boxes set out by the counties.
Then, when the real voter's real absentee ballot shows up, it's tossed in the DUPLICATE VOTE pile that goes to the county dump. Or, if the voter shows up to vote in person, that vote becomes a provisional ballot, not counted.

In general the reject rate is much higher in Democrat precincts since they Do Not Follow Instructions. Not surprisingly Democrats want all the rules to be ''relaxed''.
