VP Debate Verdict: Kamala Harris
showed there’s still no there, there

On September 12, 2019, after an abysmal debate performance by Kamala Harris, I wrote, Kamala Harris’ campaign should have ended tonight at #DemDebate: She proved beyond a reasonable doubt that there’s no there, there. (Snip) Kamala Harris proved me wrong--I’ve viewed her as someone whose intellect is a mile wide and an inch deep. I’d like to revise that assessment--her intellect is a mile wide and half-an-inch deep. There’s no there, there. (Snip) Harris repeated numerous lies about the “both sides” Charlottesville and calling coronavirus a “hoax, but was ineffective in making arguments. A laugh and a giggle is not an argument. There’s still no there, there.

Harris exhibits a lack of leadership and courage. She maligns half of Americans as racists, bigots, and white supremists and still asks to be their leader. She insults the scientists and leaders of American pharmaceutical companies (the best in the world) by saying she will not take their vaccine if President Trump recommends it. By her example of not taking a vaccine because of political spite, she would encourage a significant part of the population to risk possible death. A leader must take risks. This weak woman needs to stay socially distanced in her little office over in the Senate Building with a mask over her face and a muzzle over her mouth. Joe Biden can keep cowering in his basement. We do not need their toxicity and lack of faith in the American people in the White House.

I'd like to know who is on this so called debate commission. Once again it began with an anti-Trump question. Do these left wing crazies think that we (the non-crazies) are totally stupid and can't see what is happening? The answer to saving this country from complete destruction is not only keeping Trump as President but also taking back the House and increasing our majority in the Senate.

I texted with three other women during the debate, and every one of us had to turn the debate off in less than 5 minutes! We all react to Kamala talking, the way we do to fingernails on the chalkboard. She has a way of giving a whiney lecture every time she speaks. The more she does this over the next 26 days, the better.

#10, yes. Women don't like Harris. Maybe its sexist and maybe it's unfair, but it is what it is. She got no traction among Democrat women in the primaries. Why would anyone think she would do well among independents. Biden will be 78 by inauguration day. Does anyone really think Harris is ready to be President? Could anyone stand listening to her on a daily basis?

We know that Harris slept her way up the ladder. Men and women alike recoil at such behavior as contemptible. Also, is anyone else put off by her counterintuitive habit of smiling and nodding while she takes shots at her opponents? It’s very odd but it strikes me as learned, coached behavior. It comes across, at least to me, as arrogant and unreasonable.

It was apparent to DG and me that Kamalie was in way over her head. Her regurgitating a mantra of talking points was really awkward. And acting like a rude, sneering, and whiny hard left liberal made her appear as anything but a leader. Whereas, Pence appeared very Presidential last night. I was frankly very impressed with his delivery. And why is it these debates keep getting moderated by some dweeb from the left?

I didn't watch. I cannot tolerate political theater. I pay attention to what someone has done, not what they claim to have done nor say they will do. As to be expected this morning, the local NBC affiliate ran network analysis feed which basically accused Pence of outright lying while "clarifying" everything Harris said in order to defend her. Predictable.

You know what else wasn't there? A fair and impartial moderator. Where were the questions about the rioting and looting in Democrat cities, as well as their "catch and release" policies for the criminals? Where were the questions about the just revealed fake Russia collusion investigations started by the Democrats that have obstructed the normal operation of our government for nearly 4 years? Why the slanted, accusatory questions about COVID? I'm sick of these 2-on-1 debates and I'm doubly sick of these fake polls. Let's get this over with once and for all, either by ballots or by bullets, whichever will finally put down the incessant insanity.

Her glib "I'm talking!" delivered two or three times with a little toss of the head, was obnoxious. Everyone understood her meaning: "I dare you to interrupt A WOMAN!" Add in her eye rolls, smirks and sighs, and condescending gems like "Let me give you a little history lesson," and it was the most revolting debate performance I've ever seen. Every bit as bad as Hillary, and dumber.

Not until last night had I heard either Kamala or Joe mention the $400K income cap on tax increases. She must have pulled that number out of her money-maker. That's the age-old democrat tax-the-rich lie. Make no mistake, they intend to tax everybody. They would need huge tax increases to accumulate four trillion dollars to waste on green energy, free college and other democrat pipe dreams

And, predictably, still no idea of the policy plans of Biden/Harris on specific issues. As Victor Davis Hansen said, they can't afford to actually reveal a specific policy plan, or they'd lose either the center or far they simply reduce every answer to "Orangemanbad", and fold their arms as though they've answered the question.

First off that was one horrible written article full of repeats and stock tweets, that's not writing. I tuned in when VP Pence was talking then had to turn it off when I saw that smug, blanket hair swinging, turtle neck Kamala Harris. That woman is a mental midget with too much bad attitude. Before the debate Camel-la-la was bragging about licking Pence lying down .... the way she earned her promotions. Instead, he slapped her around like a hockey puck in Stanley cup overtime! Everyone got a chance to see how Biden will be a true Lefty and manipulated by her. She, and her running dog cronies, are outrageous nut jobs. As usual, important questions were ignored and it was all about "Vote for Harris/Biden because Trump/Pence are mean". The moderator also didn't ask questions but gave long winded Demo-rat talking points and then said to Pence: "Surely, you must agree with ... blah, blah, blah?" Pence had to waste time of 2 minutes (!) telling why he didn't agree! My somewhat bias take-away was that the latter-day Madame de Pompadour (a/k/a "whore") got beat like a dirty rug. She cannot be allowed anywhere near the White House. OTOH, my confidence that Pence could step in as POTUS has been reconfirmed.

Mike Pence, an impeccably fine man, is a true éminence grise, a mature and seasoned statesman who is a true gentleman. I´m not sure I could have maintained his composure while Kamala Harris smirked, rolled her eyes and shook her head while he was speaking. I probably would have confronted Harris with a line such as, "Do you think this is funny?!?" The vice-president was controlled, on message, dignified and clearly capable to continue doing his job.

I have seen any of the articles (at least the ones I've read) about her condescending tone -- and not toward Pence -- but toward viewers. She felt the need to stop not once, but twice, to explain definitions of simple words to us: 1. Debt and 2. Bounty. And, in both instances was LYING through her perfectly whitened TEETH regarding the subject matter she was explaining. The condescension could've been overlooked had she been at least somewhere in the ballpark of truth, but not only was she outside of the ballpark, she was in the wrong location altogether. So maddening.

At the time of this writing the RealClearPolitics average shows him behind his Democratic challenger, former Vice President Joe Biden, by nearly 10 points. This lead emboldened Biden to tell a group of supporters on Saturday that the only way he could lose was through polling place “chicanery.” Why, then, do most Americans believe Trump will win? Survey after survey has found that, regardless of which candidate they support, a majority of respondents predict a Trump victory. "We're giving a middle income tax cut very soon, as soon as we win, we're giving a middle income tax cut," Trump told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo. "It'll be a very substantial middle income tax cut. And I've already done this, but you have to understand we're increasing it."

Only a handful of Democrats were able to make opening statements Monday, leading into confirmation hearings for Amy Coney Barrett, whom President Donald Trump nominated to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) made the most of his precious few minutes. In a statement made directly to Barrett, Leahy told the Supreme Court nominee — a law professor, federal Circuit Court judge, wife, and mother — that confirming her to the highest court in the land would be “harmful” to women.“I’ve heard from them often and loudly since Justice Ginsburg’s passing,” Leahy began “They’re scared that your confirmation would rip the healthcare protections that
