President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for the coronavirus, the president tweeted early Friday.
Trump’s positive test comes just hours after the White House announced that senior aide Hope Hicks came down with the virus after traveling with the president several times this week. Trump was last seen by reporters returning to the White House on Thursday evening and looked to be in good health. Trump is 74 years old, putting him at higher risk of serious complications from a virus that has now killed more than 200,000 people nationwide.

74 is not a good age for this illness

I'm not going to sweat this. Assuming he and she have actual symptoms they have the finest meds available. Betcha, if needed, HE would get HCQ/Zi/Zpak, as opposed to us HoiPoi who's doctors are threatened with losing their license over prescribing it. (Indiana)

As politicized as this is, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a false positive.

Just when you thought the year 2020 couldn't get more strange, this happens.
On a serious note, has Dementia Joe been tested? And if he also tests positive, I can't wait for the blame game to start.

President Trump has claimed that the new therapeutics are excellent, and now he´ll be able to learn about them first-hand. Trump gets out in front of people at rallies every single day and there´s risk associated with that! Of course, MSNBC and CNN will now scold the president and First Lady for being "reckless," but the president doesn´t hide in his basement. He´s aware of the risks and he accepted those risks. Does anyone believe that DJT will whine about it? No, we´ll see a happy warrior who takes his lumps and gets on with it. I believe he´s asymptomatic, and the First Lady is unwell, but not devastated.
If anyone can get through this and make it work for him, it´s Donald Trump. I have confidence in him. It´s time to pray for both of them.

Anyone with any kind of life will be exposed. I play hockey with a lot of young kids. I will not give it up. Living life for today. I’m sick of the hysteria. I’m thinking it’s not much worse than the flu. If it is at all.

Fast application of HCQ is needed, probably already started, and probably not talked about.
Best wishes to the First Family.

I wouldn't put it past the Democrats to have secretly exposed Trump and his staff to China Virus on purpose. The debate probably offered several opportunities...

In our county of 600,000+ people we are reporting that a total of 475 people between the ages of 70 and 79 have officially been reported with the disease. Not a giant sample size, but pretty decent.
Of those 40% were/are outpatients, 50% are "unknown" (almost certainly outpatient) and 9.8% were hospitalized. About 5.8% died from the disease. 0
I have been watching this age group closely and (from memory) the deaths stood at 24 for several months, now is up to 28. I think that either treatment has improved a lot, so current death rates are much lower (24 happened in first 6 weeks,IIRC) or perhaps those in the county with serious medical issues in this age range have already been thinned out. Something has changed.
This seems to be pretty good news, 94% survival rate in the 70-79 age range, under 10% hospitalized. seems like 90% handle it very well, outpatient treatment - probably no treatment at all, really.

1 Timothy 2: we pray for those in authority. Now more so than ever. For a swift and complete recovery for the President and First Lady and Ms. Hicks, as a testimony to the healing power of the Lord. Continue to anoint them with the power of the Holy Spirit. Let America know that through the President, our victory will be won.

Praying for a speedy recovery for the First Couple. Am interesting to see the reaction of the MSDNC and Clinton News Network. Probably drooling with barely-contained glee and their wishes for the Oresident's untimely demise. I can just see it now...
