The meeting was slated as a Minneapolis City Council study session on police reform.
But for much of the two-hour meeting, council members told police Chief Medaria Arradondo that their constituents are seeing and hearing street racing which sometimes results in crashes, brazen daylight carjackings, robberies, assaults and shootings. And they asked Arradondo what the department is doing about it.

Is there a more satisfying sound than that of the other guy's chickens coming home to roost? What's that German word? Ah yes, schadenFloyd, that's it, schadenFloyd!

#3, love what you did there. Very clever. These idiots on the city council want it both ways. They want their own rear ends protected. They do not care about the citizens they represent.

A lot have retired or moved to other places.
The rest got the message from the city council, which was "arresting people is no longer permitted ".
Be careful what you wish for, you might get it.
ZERO sympathy.

Unbelievable. Democrats get rid of the police and then when the crime rate soars they wonder where the police are.

Not really all that long ago, Detroit was a beautiful and prosperous city. People tend to think their material culture will always just "be there." But it's more fragile than meets the eye. Do we need more examples? People lose the sense of civic pride and responsibility. Rudy Giuliani was prescient when he enforced the Broken Windows theory and enforced the laws against all kinds and extents of vandalism. Not even half a century later, NYC is sliding toward the precipice.
Truly puzzling is the idea that adults, educated people, could not imagine (since everyone is saying --au current-- re-imagine this and that) the consequences of eliminating the civil servants charged with enforcing the laws, which the people's legislators wrote, in order to provide order, peace and safety. pathetic and stupid

Police are implementing MBA policy. That's, Management By Avoidance. Why risk getting arrested and sued for doing their job? The Mayor and the City Council Members are stuck on STUPID, but not the police.

It’s simple. When you prosecute and demonize cops who do their job you have to expect police to reduce their efforts and the risks they take.
George Floyd died of a heart attack caused by a drug overdose. The police didn’t do anything wrong. The proof is in the autopsy, yet 4 officers are fired and on trial. The Democratic politicians are using Floyd’s death for political purposes and the cops are screwed. They no it and that’s why they are avoiding risks.

I was just thinking -- who in the Democrat Party green-lighted these ugly riots with the belief that they would help Joe Biden in November? How could anyone be THAT stupid?

It could be film production of Street Outlaws Minneapolis. JJ Da Boss is in town with his MSO family looking to win big on the streets downtown.

Isn't is obvious, less police must mean less crime. It's intuitive, at least to the Minneapolis city council....

One can only hope that all the city council members that voted to defund their police department finds themselves in dire need of said police.

Poster 14: you will never hear the names of the actual Democrat Generals behind the scenes, from a liberal mouthpiece. Look at what happened to Gingrich. He spoke a truth, he go muzzled.
And Soros is about the level of a one or two star general. He's in the field, and making local strategy, but the real big wigs are out of sight. If anything blows up in their face, they don't want it coming back on them.

Unfortunately and seriously, people around the world have been watching what has been going on in the US Democrat socialist run inner cities and are saying, “how did the Americans get so stupid” especially in Mother Russia where they found out long ago that Communism and Socialism just do not work!
