One of Jesus Christ’s most well-known sayings comes from the Gospel of Matthew: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves.”(Snip) “I now invite you to stand, and joining [sic] us in the prayer for racial justice, by responding ‘yes’ to each of the following statements,” he began. What followed was disgraceful: A priest of the triune God Almighty began mouthing poisonous, divisive, racial Marxist platitudes.(Snip) But this is the strategy: Conceal the presence of radical statements by sprinkling them among other decent and even laudable ones.

I have read history - Prayer. Our Chinese brothers and sisters in Christ, I am sure , pray for America.
We allowed God and prayer to be taken out of public- what we get our BLM and Antifa burning our cities down
Stand strong America

The Athiests and Humanists mock our churches these days pointing to the fact membership is down, that fewer people admit to this or that denomination...
We saw where our leadership had gone and refused to compromise our faith. They daren't ask "Is Christ your Lord and Savior? Thy just might be shocked at the answer.

I believe there has to be an element of false doctrine already present within a church for this type of thing to be so blatantly proposed. People who are knowledgeable in scripture and sound doctrine would reject it outright, and demand that the person spreading it be counseled and/or removed.
What we need as a nation is a return to God and His Word, not to be drawn further away by the false interpretations of men.
Acts 17:11 “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
We need to follow the example of the first century Berean Christians. If they tested the words of the inspired apostle Paul against Holy Scripture, then surely we can test the current twisting of God’s Word by uninspired men.

The United Church of Christ (UCC) here in NH is all in on social justice, white racism, and all the other Progressive, Marxist garbage. In May they sent out a letter with the salutation "Dear White Allies" decrying the deaths of Taylor, Arbery and Floyd as racist. It repeated all the tropes about white privilege, intrinsic racism, It closed with "Finally, beloved church, You must VOTE. Your vote is your protest and resistance."
While I want to see our local church succeed, the UCC needs to fail. NH is said to be the least churched state in the nation. The UCC is a major player in NH and this Progressive attitude may be reason for low church attendance. Conservative neighbors have left the church for these Progressive teachings.

Evil inside the Catholic church in NYC. Is there ANYTHING left that actually is good, and functional in NYC? Anything?

Left the church 50 years ago. Never looked back. If I were in this morons congregation, I would have given him the middle finger salute and walked out.

I recall one Sunday morning Mass back in the 60s. The priest started praising JFK’s intervention in the U.S. Steel strike. My father gave my mother, me, and all my siblings the signal, and we marched out in the middle of the sermon.

#3- Agree. However, considering the violence being perpetrated in this country, orchestrated and financed by Marxists, the looming threat of violence to clergy, church members, and church buildings (including Christian schools) may be a factor in churches “turning the other cheek” and hoping for a peaceful resolution to the external threats coming from these activists. There is profound personal spiritual danger in “turning the other cheek” in situations where God’s Word should, and must, prevail. As written in James 3:1, “teachers” (clergy) will be held to a stricter standard of judgment and a harsher punishment.
In defense of clergy, in today’s fast-paced society, many adults have neglected to provide a Christian education for their children and may have strayed from their personal regular church attendance and in-depth study of Scripture.
This country has been so blessed with freedom of religion since its founding that church members, except for those who fled countries where Christian persecution exists/existed, have no idea of the magnitude of persecution that can be wrought upon resistance to willful Marxist infiltration, thereby being blissfully ignorant of the inherent danger confronting them, their children, their church, their country.
Without question, prayer is imperative: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:10-20)

#4, it has been my understanding that the UCC has been a Marxist organization from its inception.
They are certainly nothing like the first century church of Christ that Christ died to establish.

#8 is absolutely spot-on. Prayer is our greatest weapon. It is a pity this country considers prayer the last resort, "Well, we've done all we can, all we have left is prayer." It is more than a pity, it is a shame.
Saul Alinsky did not dedicate "Rules for Radicals" to Lucifer solely as an insolent act to shock to public; it was the signature page on the contract for his soul. His satanic mission field was the most religiously free and diverse country on planet earth, the United States of America. He planted seeds of incremental destruction into the fields of academia, government, entertainment and, most importantly, into religious institutions. We should not be surprised that seducing betrayers from believers is Satan's favorite tactic. Jesus was kissed by Judas and denied three times by Peter. Both men betrayed Christ but each had a different outcome; one committed suicide and the other became our first pope - papa to the flock. Their destinies lay in their own hands. Judas chose despair and hoped to wipe away his sin and pain with death. Peter endured his sorrow and suffering; it is said his cheeks had channels etched into them from the tears he shed during Christ's three days in the tomb. Peter chose faith, hope and love of Jesus.
Even with a Marxist pope the Catholic Church will prevail in her teaching of the Faith passed down from the Apostles and Church Fathers. Jesus Christ promised she would. However, He did not promise her members would always be above the fray. He promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against her. She will be standing on the Last Day. Let us remember that gates are a defensive position, which means Christ wants His Church to be on the offensive. That means us, which brings us back to the source of all our strength...prayer.

Much like the rest of college students getting indoctrinated in Marxist ideas, those that have entered the ministry over the last twenty years are exposed to it as well. Hence the decline in church attendance and membership. Getting lectured by the clergy giving sermons that border on BLM talking points, is no way to attract people who work, live their lives the best they can, and try to do what's right.

Not sure who deserves more notoriety for corrupting Christianity than Saul Alinsky who sold the Catholic church a bill of goods many decades ago based on the simple-minded concept of the haves and have nots.
Alinsky's aims were darker and deeper than addressing that notion, the church ate it up, unable to see they were tools marked for destruction themselves. The most useful of idiocy.

Praying this is a Must Read...
And Praising God that Deion A. Kathawa had the courage to write this, quoting and understanding the First Commandment is key.
May we who know Him as Savior and LORD, fall on our knees, in Scripture’s prayers and promise...
“...if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Amen.

#10,#13- Comments and content appreciated. --- Happened upon a video made by a Catholic priest from Wisconsin that may be of interest to people of faith; it is powerful, moving, truthful, heartfelt, and courageous. Seeing and hearing this man of the cloth daring to speak the truth is heartwarming, inspiring, and appreciated beyond words. May he be kept safe from harm.
Not certain whether posting the blog link would be in violation of posting rules, the caption shown below placed in the search engine will bring forward the link to the video that runs just short of ten minutes. As an aside, Bishop Joseph Strickland of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas endorsed the video. Here is the caption:
Fr. James Altman: "You cannot be a Catholic and a Democrat. Period." -- Endorsed by the Bishop of Tyler, Texas

The Wolf has slipped into many church bodies and deception reigns! When the Charismatic Movement arises, run! Just left a wonderful AELC Lutheran Church in Minneapolis to go back to Missouri Synod! WAY too many warning signs and we finally could not attend worship just for a SHOW every Sunday! We need Biblical Truth, not Social Justice movements in The Bride Of Christ!

#14 Clarification --- Due to a senior moment, failed to be more specific in suggesting that the message from the Catholic priest is applicable to all individuals, Christians and Jews, who profess to be people of faith. We worship the same God; we strive to be obedient to His Commandments—including, “Thou shalt not murder.” God bless the priest for his admonition in a simple, yet profound manner.
#16- Thank you, my pleasure. Indeed, sisters in Christ.
#17- For sure, “what courage” for the priest to speak so boldly. The bishop’s support of the priest’s message and recognition of the priest’s courage is to be commended is courageous as well.

#15- Welcome back to the LCMS! Born and baptized Lutheran, left the ELCA approximately 34 years ago after seeing its descent into liberalism that began negatively influencing Lutheran doctrine with the only regret being not having found the LCMS decades earlier. Unfortunately, with today’s Marxist movement infiltrating churches and Christian schools, chances are mainline denominations will be facing challenges much like what has been detailed in this article. May LCMS clergy and members have the courage of Martin Luther: “Here I stand...”

But there is also the Christian warning that "The path to hell is paved with good intentions". One priest and even one parish community do not make up the whole Church. Pope St John Paul II warned all believers and practitioners in Liberation/Armed Revolutionary Theology that Christ did not come just to rescue the "downtrodden" but to redeem everybody.

The author points out what is going on is the implementation of the neo-Marxists standard playbook in use since the 1960s. Radicals have a grip over much of the power in this country excluding, so far, the presidency and to a lesser degree the U.S. Senate; they have infiltrated a variety of powers in this country that impact American lives, including corporations through human resource departments. The current church infiltration appears to want to establish offices of diversity to oversee what they claim is racial justice—“replacing Christian doctrine with neo-Marxist ideology.”
