Former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele has joined the Lincoln Project, a group of “constitutional conservatives” who oppose President Trump, the organization announced.
Steele, who served as RNC chair until 2011, will join the “Never Trump” group as a senior adviser, the group said Monday.
In a statement, the former party bigwig justified abandoning the GOP, arguing that “The chair behind the Resolute Desk has always been bigger than any political party.

Hey, just remember, President Trump is a former Democrat. Why don't the media refer to President Trump as :"former Democrat, President Trump". Big deal and get over it Michael Steele. You are no more a Republican than Bernie Sanders is a Democrat.

They've already edited his Wiki page to read, "...is an American conservative political commentator, attorney, and former Republican Party politician. "
Did you know that his sister, Monica Turner, was married (and divorced) to Mike Tyson (50-6-44 KOs)?
The Lincoln Project, ha ha ha.

Steele has worked for MSNBC since 2011. What else needs to be said about his political beliefs?

Michael Steele NEVER fails to disappoint. He was the RNC chair for about 3 minutes and I was already smacking my forehead.

All the "Republicans" in the Lincoln Project are losers....so not surprised Michael Steele, failed leader of the RNC, joined them. As the head of RNC he had no original vision, no leadership abilities - he was a figurehead, a failed one at that. Thank you for going away!

One of the many reasons I stopped contributing to the RNC. Steele was a huge disappointment but then he was a Bush Republican, so I repeat myself.

Presume he found he didn't really resonate any longer in the Republican party that wants to win, and actually improve things.
Bet he believes there was actually Russian collusion with the Trump campaign even though Mueller couldn't find any, and 57 first-hand witnesses testified under oath, including Clapper, Yates, Rice and others, would not commit perjury.

Steele was always right on the edge of whether I would just ignore him or listen just a bit.
He fell off the fence, onto the wrong side. Bye, you fool.

What will Steel do this time when Trump wins? He will of no use to MSNBC or CNN. Democrats won't care to have him. He washed out as a fake Republican. He has made himself pretty much useless to everyone.
Maybe he will become a "peaceful" protester and get Pepper sprayed and tear-gassed. He'll look silly as can be holding his clenched fist in black-power salute after flacking for white power all of his career.

They dig these relics out of their graves every 4 years to pretend to be Republicans, and to condemn Republicans. The device is totally ineffective, and they may as well let this refuse stay in their graves.

Did Steele forget that it was demonrat Chuckie Schumer who illegally got his SS # and attempted to do a credit check on him? Chuckie never even suffered any consequences for it. That's the "different rules for different folks" rearing its ugly head again. It's just gotten worse since his felonious activity.

We are quickly becoming a country divided into two camps:
1. Those who believe that the federal government is the best answer to every question, or think they can make a lot of money if act like that's the case, and,
2. Those who don't.
