The city of Madison collected 10,813 absentee ballots from local residents at this weekend’s Democracy in the Park event, which state Republicans tried to halt. Despite a threat of legal action from the state GOP if the event were to take place, the Madison City Clerk’s Office forged ahead, arguing Republicans had no legal support for allegations the event constituted an “illegal collection of ballots” that “falls outside lawful categories.”

Evidence right here that Trump should question the results in Wisconsin. Like 10,000+ people brought their ballots to a hootenanny to be collected...right. And I have swamp land in Wisconsin to sell you real cheap. The fact that they're doing all this out in the open is what is concerning to me. They're not concerned about the election because they have guaranteed to have more ballots than necessary in all the "battleground states". They will stuff (Omar's district as proof), multiple vote, and expunge any opposition ballots, and find (i.e. Al Franken) all the votes necessary to turn every close race to their end. "Winning" by cheating and manipulating isn't winning, Winning by opposition judges overturning or ruling against you isn't winning. But, by goodness, they will do everything they possibly can to steal this race. They really are demon-rats. MAGA!!! KAG!!! TRUMPS 2020 AND BEYOND!!! VOTE IN PERSON!!!

What should be happening, they should start counting the votes of all early ballots right away. This will enable ballots to be verified, and a check on any additional ballots that come in later in the cycle using the same person's registration. It would also lesson the deluge come Nov 3rd.

The left knows that conservatives won't do this #2. We are honest and have morals, we do not cheat. We should, however, figure out how to verify that the votes are real and legit, which of course, they are not. I recently read the riot act to the Republican Party of MN for being naive/stupid enough to think we are going to have an election "DAY". I told them this would happen, and it is!! Go figure.

Community health advocates and some aldermen called Tuesday for creation of a crisis response team that excludes police officers to help people experiencing mental health emergencies. “Currently, the city’s response to crises has been done and managed exclusively by the city’s police department,” said Arturo Carrillo, lead organizer for the Collaborative for Community Wellness, a citywide coalition of community groups. “As a result, the largest mental health provider in this city and this country is Cook County Jail.” Instead, Carrillo, a licensed social worker, said the crisis response team would be staffed by paramedics and social workers and operated by the Chicago Department of Public Health.

House Republicans are pushing to seal the deal on a host of policies to withdraw vital American industries from China in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The GOP-chartered House China Task Force issued a report on Wednesday that calls in part for Congress to enact the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act's bevy of policies. Those policies, many of which have already passed the House, aim at reducing U.S. supply chain dependency on the Chinese Communist regime, which the report labeled a risk to American safety and prosperity. President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden went head-to-head on Tuesday night, and moderator Chris Wallace got knocked out. Wallace seemed to push left-wing talking points to help Trump and hurt Biden, but both candidates talked over him. Trump and Biden brought out the fisticuffs and both got in a few good hits. Biden stumbled but he did not come across as a bumbling fool. While Trump and Biden both went on the offensive, Trump got in more clear statements and Biden came across as shifty, especially on packing the Supreme Court.

Chris Wallace’s overt defense of Joe Biden throughout the debate on Tuesday night was so obvious, so blatant, he should be proscribed from ever “moderating” a debate again. Wallace’s performance was as Biden’s protector, his advocate, and that is undeniable. He stepped in at every moment Biden seemed lost: court-packing, lack of support of law enforcement, and Hunter’s criminality. The debate was so poorly managed. The questions were designed to aid Biden, to coddle him. No wonder Trump felt duty-bound to interrupt. Trump was debating both Wallace and Biden and only one of them is sentient.

Many people have cited memorable lines from the contentious political slugfest, but the lines that stand out to me are the grotesquely disrespectful ad hominem insults Biden directed at the president of the United States.
