A video emerged on Friday of Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden calling soldiers “stupid bastards” and a “dull bunch” during a speech overseas to U.S. soldiers while he was serving as vice president in the Obama administration. “I have incredibly good judgment,” Biden said. “One, I married Jill, and two, I appointed Johnson to the academy. Joking? You don’t, under any circumstances, call a crowd of our military “stupid bastards”, especially when you are overseas. Talk about not being presidential material.

For every lie they tell on PDT, search the archives for the video of them doing exactly what they accuse him of doing. It's projecting on a whole new level; the rhythm is the base, and the base is the treble.

"Stupid Bastards" may have been tough guy talk (recall the famous "Battling Bastards of Bataan" - 1942) but telling the audience they were "slow" was not. Biden meant "You people are too slow (too dumb) to recognize - and clap for - the amazingly accomplished. talented and praise-worthy person who is in your presence and talking to you."

Let me tell you about soldiers. It is likely that none of them wanted to be there listening to that dull, unimportant man make a speech. But soldiers follow orders and you can rest assured commanders were ordered to provide bodies for that event.

Narrative, meet thy match: Actuality. On Wednesday, Robert Johnson appeared to indicate he’ll be sticking with Donald Trump when November comes around. During an interview on CNBC’s The Squawk Box, the mogul discussed devils: “As a businessman, I will take the devil I know over the devil I don’t know any time of the week. And that seems to be what business people are confronting today.”  (Snip) Of course, I can’t speak for the man; but I’d assume he wouldn’t be saying the above if he were especially unhappy with Trump’s job. He may not call it an endorsement, but it’s surely a favorable statement.  Correction*

The GOP-chartered House China Task Force issued a report on Wednesday that calls in part for Congress to enact the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act's bevy of policies. Those policies, many of which have already passed the House, aim at reducing U.S. supply chain dependency on the Chinese Communist regime, which the report labeled a risk to American safety and prosperity. President Trump was impeached a second time by the US House of Representatives on Wednesday in a largely party-line vote that saw a handful of Republicans join Democrats to blame the outgoing commander-in-chief for sparking last week’s Capitol siege. The measure reached 217 “yea” votes shortly after 4:20 p.m. to make Trump the only president to be impeached twice. The final vote was 232-197, with 10 Republicans crossing party lines and four Republicans not voting when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) announced around 4:35 p.m. No members of the GOP voted in 2019 to impeach Trump the first time.

President Trump potentially faces a torrent of criminal charges when he leaves office, including charges linked to the deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, making prosecutors worry that he is a flight risk.
